I only recently discovered Scratch Acid. I found a copy of ‘Just keep eating’ at a garage sale for $1, and it looked interesting, and it’s awesome!

If VJ had any belief that the Beatles would be as profitable and as enduring as they have been, I’m sure they would’ve found a way to finance immediate production of the album and payment of fees to TransGlobal. I believe at the time both VJ and Capitol thought Beatlemania was a temporary fad. As I told Counselor Spizer at our last Beatles fest: “imagine Hard Day’s Night on VJ!”

Maybe we can apply to Fat Mike that at least he puts The Distillers into his museum. Someone from our group just visited and The Distillers are not there. We guess that you know them and that Mike knows them. They are one of the defining punk bands of our time, from music to voice to songwriting they are quite outstanding to say the least. Their new album is finished, and withheld because of the demanding divorce case of the singer. People widely believe The Distillers are actively being dismissed by Fat Mike because of personal differences between Rancid's and The Distillers' Front members - which has caused a destructive polarisation in the punk community - musicians and audience alike. Well, the people around do not think that. Fat Mike so far seems are very community committed guy having good punk ethics in his DNA, but the tragic history along the Rancid singer divorce from the Distillers singer was basically an active destruction of the community spirit among U.S. punk bands, to keep it that objective. Long Issue short: Maybe ask Fat Mike what the difficulty with The Distillers is? - - - Paramore are of diverse influences, but the Distillers for example are fully legit and iconic punk of our time. Why are they not in Fat Mike's display?

Now, Ipecac have finally released all 3 Bungle LPs in a box-set. Have not purchased yet (seems obscenely expensive to me, but I know I will buckle eventually). If it actually sounds better than the MOV/Music On Vinyl pressing, I will be shocked (and happy, obviously!), as that pressing is just stellar. PLAIN recordings sucks. NEVER support them. And they're not European - they're a 'proud' USA company. Just the worst.

Ray and Robby wrote the music. Jim wrote lyrics and melodies and to me was the greatest vocalist in Rock history. John banged on the drums but thinks he was as much a part of the Doors as they were. Sorry John but without those 3 guys nobody would’ve ever heard your name and you are pissed they used the Doors name after Jim died? They were the Doors

The reason they accumulated so many great records with multiple pressings of the same rare item is due to how they price which is to price on demand. The reason for this is due to the fluctuations in the market. Can you imagine having to change prices on that many records? Clearly the price on the fly method hurts their sales but it’s how they do it. They will haggle with you so pick out what you want and make a fair offer.

Tom didn’t give the other guys the chance to contribute . The singer should have gotten royalties just for his quality vocals alone. The albums would not have been nearly as big without those perfect vocals give me a break.! I have no respect for Tom or anyone who wants to keep all credit to themselves. What a crock and it’s such a sad blemish that will taint Boston forever more for me and it should taint Boston for EVERYONE!! Terrible. So what if the other members got some money?? Oh boo hoo Tom would be a few million less rich😂 My God what a monster. Just my opinion and I don’t really care if anyone disagrees. I’ll never listen to Boston without thinking what a money grubber Tom was and it’s all his fault not mine or anyone else’s fault. Tom made his legacy.
