I just came back to retail after quitting in Warlords of Draenor and playing WoTLK ever since. I decided to play monk for the first time ever and just now looking at the brewmaster spec. Never did M+ before so it is taking a bit of courage but I'm looking forward to tanking after watching your videos!

I start off with a shield charge straight into demolish, Demoralising shout and an ignore pain in there asap… That is how you get enough threat up for the big dps tryhards you will get in M+ pugs. If you think you will hold threat on a 5m DPS Fury warrior without that, Or just using challenging shout, You wont

any tip on how to group up all of these casters? i use rop and then run around like a headless chicken trying to kick and grab aggro only to lose aggro of the others is the only option LOS?

Does the blackout kick purify brew generate more stacks of purified chi? I’ve tried multiple times but it just stops at 10 stacks? Is there a talent I’m not using?

Um this is both good and horrible advice at the same time...read more below... That dot(when cleansed) makes the tank take 50% less damage for 6 seconds.... so normally you just take the first hit and then keep cleansing it as the smash comes in for the rest of the fight. This is only good if you are good enough to land this EVERY time or for an emergency to avoid the 1 shit.... Also I wouldn't call taking flat hits to your back from the boss (relieving your healers stess) lol

Do you use a macro to swap between blackout kick and tigers palm? I've been debating doing this for blackout combo since I use it in my build and feel I am very inefficient at using tigers palm

@11.29 You can reposition the Dragon so that only you (the tank) stands in the pool to get healing from it. Makes the tank debuff less painful.

The threat generation is seriously a huge annoyance on BrM right now. Making fights where’d id normally just KS adds coming in and they don’t get pulled. Thanks for bringing that up. Also great video!
