It really is. I’d almost say that it’s like Guy Ritchie’s greatest hits…there’s little bits sprinkled throughout the show that remind me of past movies he’s done; but everything has been refined into a pretty great storyline. Eddie & Susie are fantastic lead characters.

He evaded an answer whether he accepts her as his queen and ruler. But I think he does. Daemon is nothing if not devoted. All he ever wanted was to be recognised among the members of his family. Even though he has a funny way of showing it.

The reason why Susie's business can be seized like this, but normal businesses can't, is because her business is illegal. Therefore she can't enlist the help of the government to defend herself. The government's protection of private property is what safeguards normal citizens' businesses and property from similar confiscation by violent criminals.

For context for anyone who has not seen the series, the older brother Freddy owed £8 million that he does not have to a mob loan shark. He asked Edward for help. Edward is his younger brother who inherited most of the estate and the title of Duke ("Your grace"). Edward was able to negotiate the loan down to £4 million but with caveats. Edward had to sell parts of the family estate to raise the money and is not happy with Freddy for putting the family in this situation and how Freddy is objecting to the conditions of help. Freddy is not happy he was passed over.
