No. This was just a Christmas themed video of me goofing around on the Snow Resort. There is no special events based on calendar date in Go Vacation.

To beat all the mini game challenges shouldn't take too long but reaching Level 99 will take some grinding. After getting all the initial Stamps you'll get to do Tasks that are refreshed on a daily basis to earn EXP and also planes will randomly show up on the resorts that drop presents in a location and collecting those will give you EXP. Reaching Level 99 is more a novelty thing since you stop getting a silver key per level up around the level 80s. Hope this helps you!
