12 years later....lol , just bought one but can't seem to get as great results as you, what were you feeding it? I see you had a Ozone controller so I'l guessing a plugin? what is the midi in/out for ? this machine is not like most Vocoders

Hey there. I still have it. The keyboard was an Oxygen 8 but any synthesizer will do. It is better (to get the signal clear) if you feed it a harmonic rich signal, start with a basic Saw or Pulse tone and go from there. Don't feed the mic from the front, but use the line (through a mixer or something) then use the ESS through) as it lets the "S" sounds pass unaffected and make it sound clearer. Try to speak/sing in the same tone as the melody you are feeding and just start playing with knobs. You should get good results.

@@schoovaertssimon7904 Turn off Robot Pitch, Press Source Kill to not hear the instrument, and make sure the FX mix is all the way to the right.

@@OiwOyiv No, the internal oscillator does not respond to midi. The MIDI in/outs are just to send CC to be recorded in a sequencer and to play back the settings and recorded movements. For it to generate sound (following pitch) you need to feed two audio sources.

This is so awesome! I felt like I was there playing. I have one, that I haven't really used yet. But I have a ts-305 that I just hooked up tonight. I hooked it to a behringer td-3, using the cv for the snare and used a splitter to get 2 channels for a bass and Tom. Sent the midi to my Boog, then sent to a Modal Skulpt, and everything into a Livetrak L-8. It was madness. I think I'm going to have to use the TS-204, just to save some space. Nice job, man! I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I have this techstar. The clap is f***ing amazing! I used to have that Yamaha box too. I miss that thing. I really miss the reverse function on the sequencer. A very rare feature. The sounds are a bit dated but workable. Made some serious tracks with that and the Korg ER 1.

I don't have the Techstar anymore, and yes, the clap is amazing. I still have the Yamaha and I made a template on a BCR2000 to control parameters that are not on the front panel. It turs into a beast! :)

I bought one of these and it's a pretty poorly made unit. I love Sony MD and have 20 portables and this is one of the worst.

KRAZEEIZATION Hi I have a few of these Sony minidiscs recorders. I also have a stand alone unit, but some of the disc won't play on the stand alone unit. Do you know if all the discs media are interchangeable with all the units? Thanks Timothy

No, it is the furthest focus you‘ll be able to achieve. If you want to have deep focus you need to get your apature to be as small as possible

I have an issue with my rollei 35, the light meter is working fine, but when i want to set the correct exposure with turning the aperture and exposure dials, they doesn't make the red pin move... Thanks for your help
