After a certain video. I can't help but wonder about how funny it could be if Raven was actively trying to be motherly but utterly failing. Like inwardly being super proud of her daughter. But not being able to show it because training your face to be perpetually threatening doesn't help.

God I love the idea that neo is this much of an amazing fighter and she will do it for... cake, tea and head pats. It is adorable and funny. Also her sass is glorious and I love the British accent she has it just feels right for her. Also her just lampshading how this rando kid manages to hit her when damn near nobody can (rightly so given her track record she's damn slippery) is just great.

Great video and achievement!! I love this anime so much! As mentioned in the show, the Hakone Ekiden is incredibly popular-something every Japanese person knows about. However, I wasn’t interested in it at all before watching this anime, even though my family loves it so much that they go out to watch it live every year. The original novel was a big success when it was first released, and then they made a live-action movie adaptation in Japan... but honestly, it was terrible. My first exposure to the story was through the anime, and it left such an impressive impact on me that I decided to read the original novel afterward. (By the way, the novel mentioned that Kakeru might have developed a connection with Hana, as well as with the twins.) I think this wholesome story has something to offer everyone, helping them find inspiration for a better life.

They’re adults, not children. That they are young is irrelevant. Adulthood is not some arbitrary number. They knew damn well what they were doing when they made their horrible choices.

Not really a difficult decision. On one hand, they have no reason not to tell him and he’s one of Ozpin’s most trusted and part of his inner circle. On the other hand there’s…he’s…using martial law to keep everyone from being massacred by Grimm and traitors? Um. How, uh, terrible of him?

Both happen during volume 7, part 2 literally starts were part 1 left off for rwby, wich is mention in film when they enter the DC realm, for ruby and friends it just been a few minutes, were in DC it had been longer do to time differences, so whn they return to their world hardly anytime had pass their fir ruby and gang, their for its impossible for part 1 to happen during volume 7 and part 2 after volume 9, cause their both during v7 and happens all at once for the Rwby crew unlike DC were their is time lapse between the 2 movies for them, ive watched both

I'm more into cycling these days but I've been wanting to get back into running. I might try the Toronto Marathon in 2025.

In October the book that inspired the show finally released in English! I highly recommend reading 'Run with the Wind' as a novel. It's a fun way to relive the series but in a different format with more details!

So glad I came across this video never thought many people still know about this anime. It inspired myself to do a marathon last year and ran a sub 3 hour marathon in my first marathon in LA marathon. I watched this anime few years ago during high school and rewatched it ever since as it motivates me during my training for my races. I'm sad that it never got a second season because it had so much potential but still left on a great ending too. Hope you and everyone else who is on the path to running and racing from 5k to marathons, you can be a runner no matter how fast or slow you are, it's all about when you start and the right mind set

Awesome! I watched this anime for the first time in Jan 2023 and it got me into running. I was rewatching it recently and like you impulsively signed up for the 2025 Toronto marathon in May. I have some interval speed training to do tonight, and this video got me even more pumped for it!

It's a great show, with a great ENG dub and made by people who clearly understand the sport of running on a fundamental level, it also serves almost like a training plan for anyone looking to start running themselves but don't know where to start, it explains things very clearly but also dives deeper into more advanced training methods without too much exposition dumps. highly recommend!
