naaaaa, why spending on a garbage, only thing worth spending is lcg chassis and sterring servo, that's all... get the 2bls brushless, put servo and lcg and that's it. If it's to spend, do it in a better car... there is absolutely no point in spending in a slash.

Other than the alum shock caps and tires, most of this is not needed if you stick with 2 cell which is more than enough for this platform.

Nope it’s always at 100. Ik what u mean though it would be too easy to blow them out. I just slow down a little when they puff up and have always been fine!

I don’t think so because they protect the bearings from rubbing on the plastic

Bearings do not rub on the plastic as it's the inside of the bearing that rotates which isn't in contact with anything ...I spoke to horizon hobby customer Base in the UK here and even showed pics of 2 shims on the left of the bearing and they said it was fine... 😂

You are correct putting shim on the inside of bearing will just wedge bearing into the rotating diff. Its okay I think he learned something. Glad hes working hard on it!

@coltb123 I actually had my diffs out yesterday changing the diff outdrives and decided to sample the idea because the diffs have a little protrusion around the opening the shims just float around loosely in-between the diff case and bearing lol I also learnt that whilst changing bulkheads to new original ones you sometimes do not even need shims ..well at least until they bed in and then maybe. Also shimmed my input gears which actually work well I might add.

1/10 Pre-Cut Brute Bash Armor White Body: Stampede 4x4. It’s from proline and the part number is PRO351815. It was discontinued but you can find knockoffs. I can’t speak for the quality of the knockoffs though.

@booost420 I have had a fully maxed out traxxas stampede with $1000 in upgrades and yes $1000 not $100 then I got a Arrma granite. It was absolutely game over for the stampede. The granite was better even stock😂

I am a fan of the renowned chargers amd have a 2 channel one. The tracxas charger can do almost everything the venom can if you use the app amd set it up for what ever you want. I was really impressed with how much you can do with that traxxas charger.

It’s simple, do you want to buy a battery that you can plug and play and get the most of for a long time… get Traxxas. If you want to struggle with dead cells or battery issues because you wanted to save money. . Then buy non Traxxas batteries. You can always find cheap Traxxas chargers on face book marketplace. The way I see it, time is too valuable to struggle with inferior products that makes you think you’re saving money. You end up spending more time dealing with issues than having fun. Traxxas simplified RCing for people like me who just want to charge a pack, go to the park and have fun. I don’t get technical with C ratings or worry about whats the right charging AMPS for my battery or anything else. Traxxas is awesome in my book.

At 4:25 you have 2 longer cap head screws in the bottom right if you remember where those went that’d help me out a lot. I put back together the front end and I have those 2 screws sitting here still.

I only threw the wl toys because when I dropped it into the soft grass it broke so as a joke I decided to throw it but over and over it kept breaking. I thought it was hilarious and I’m sure lots of other people thought the same. Never in a million years would the happen with an Arrma or Traxxas car. Also it’s a pice of metal and plastic it has no emotions, can’t feel pain, and I fixed everything I broke on it anyway😂 If you thought this video was punishing the wl toys then you should watch the next one where I ran it over with my jeep along with a bunch of other “punishments” it’s called Ultimate RC car durability test.
