It depends who are your parents and where did you grew up. Were you abused as a child? You cant really know until you are older, but the imprint sticks. Look up cult's and the Catholic Church is the biggest one. Islam is no better. It goes on and on.

"maybe gravity and love are just different forms of the same energy of things feeling connected to one another no matter how distant they appear to be." This is the theme of the movie interstellar.

The "common humanity" issue needs an intersectional approach to avoid legitimizing specific forms of oppression that a number of systems put on those most vulnerable

I started mindfulness about two years ago. My mind is sharper today than it has been in years! I am a Navy Veteran with a Combat Stress Disorder and dealing with anxiety. However thanks to Doctor Shampira is teaching and what I have learned not just in my faith but mindfulness meditation truly works!!

"I asked her what was wrong and she told me." So it must have (1) been the first time she told you about that issue and you remembered and didn't need to be told twice, (2) she was comfortable enough with talking about the issue (3) with you. Every step, upon closer inspection, reveals more steps...

What I was hearing is the idea that forgiveness necessary and that resentment and blaming isn't the correct response to catatrophe - but then he pivots to "you can't integrate or heal or forvie that loss or trauma before you integrate and process that trauma or grief. I agree that one much process and integrate one's loss, grief or trauma before forgiving. I just wasn't sure about his comments regarding resentment and blame.... I mean of course resentment and blame are only avoiding the pain and subsequent healing and forgiveness.

My Ex lied to me the moment he met me, claiming to be someone he wasn't. He willfully, knowingly and intentionally committed Marriage Fraud against me in one State and Divorce Fraud against me in another State, per a District Attorney. He was already stealing my identity with my birth family and others before he followed me off the elevator where I was employed and introduced himself to me as someone that he isn't, per the FBI and other Federal Agencies. His intention from day 1 was to human traffick me with my family and others for their personal and financial gains. They have literally destroyed every aspect of my life, ie, physically, financially, emotionally and mentally and tried to have me murdered multiple times. I am uncertain as to how to ever get over such betrayal and to trust anyone fully again. There is only one person that I truly trust to have my best interest at heart, God and only God. True story!

I remember the day when I felt that my wife doesn't care about me at all. I sat at the job site and cried, for an hour or maybe two. After that day all hell broke loose. All my empathy towards her was turned off. I'm quite sure that now she believes in me being a narcissist 😂 Lesson for our dear ladies, if you destroy all trust by neglecting his needs and prioritizing your "career" it will hit you back very hard. Don't cry after that about "narcissistic husband".
