It was discontinued due to no running water. We live off grid. We built one in the back, but it was only used to capture rain water 💧

The intake strainer is for say you’re pulling water from a pond or something. It’s to prevent unwanted debris from getting inside the pump.

Experimented w/ rooting a branch from a Quercus Virginia oak … What worked/sprouted roots!!= INSTEAD of cutting the branch- I bent that low level branch down so a good portion of that branch was horizontal with the soil - covered/ dirt/ leaves… kept moist… A few months later- tugged… rooted!!! So it’s possible! I think my branch nodes sprouted b/ they were kept moist -w/ the branch still connected/fed by the tree… Curious to hear if anyone else has found simple productive ways to propagate oaks (other than by acorns) thanks!

Don't backfill with mulch. It makes the roots not want to branch out into the native soil. I had to replace an apple tree recently and almost made the same mistake again. Backfill with native soil and mulch on top. Idk exactly what you're doing. Just letting you know
