I'm sorry to hear hun. I guess it's because I found out after that the stitch that I was using is not a double crochet, it's an extended half double crochet. Little bit smaller then the double crochet but bigger than the half double crochet. 💖

I'm so sorry hun, I have no written crochet pattern. The stitch is not a double crochet, it is called extended half double crochet. I'm a self-taught crochet designer. Didn't know the correct name of the stitch until a few months after doing the video. But you can use a double crochet. It's a chain 3 plus 15 triple crochet, so 16 in all. Ohhh My Goshhh I've been looking for this stich but with detailed description just like you are showing and describing. I didn't know what it was called in order to look it up. I've been wanting to do this crochet pattern for years and now here it is Thank You So Very Much!!!❤ Someone told me it was called a Greek Stich but when I typed that word in it would not come up, another kind of Greek stitch-pattern would come up. Hello @K-Lee Sparks I love how you walk us through this chricheting process I've looked at many pineapple motif videos and they are hard to follow. Yours was simple. My question is I'm working a top for a 38DD woman would I measure and crochet the pineapple to fit that size which is the size of her breast?

Thank you so much 🤗 sorry for the late response. There are three ways you can do the increase. The easiest way is to. 1. Use a thicker yarn like a four play yarn. 2. Make it the way I did and then add more rows to it, Till it reach the size of your desire. 3. If you are using the same yarn you can increase the beginning of the pineapple about 24 or more stitches. Good day. Just see your message sorry to take so long to respond. We all have different crochet chain tension, so this would be the best way for you to do it. Take a tape measurement and measure the child hip and waist. You are going to use the bigger measurement. Crochet your chains and stretch it to the fullest to reach the measurement and that's how you will have your foundation chain. You can use this method for any age group.
