So awesome to see this old interview as a middle aged man now... Been listening to a lot of old Rancid lately, which is probably why this is in my feed, and I still listen to that Op Ivy album all the time.

Love Rancid. i gotta say the interviewer knew his shit, the real deal. That guy knew the scene and expounded on it. That was real journalism, not the crap ass shit we have today which is typically failed actors, who found a way to worm their way into television.

This is by far the best finding of this month, musically speaking. I came here after watching that SNL punk rock marriage sketch, and started digging more about Fred Armisen, a great musician and comic. Wish those guys were still on the road, they sound great!

I tried to come up with something insightful to say about this clip but, progandhi doesnt leave holes like that to discuss, in this earlier incarnation this band still seems to hit the nail on the head in its understanding of the state of the planet, its history and whaat appears to be coming next. I still can't believe that Hannah isn't teaching a masters level college course in sociology or following in Chomsky's persuit in linguistics. This band matters, then and especially now. All Praise Progandhi!

I'm 53 this year,i lived threw the 90's it was a great decade to be young,I'm laughing at how society has gotten so woke these days, GG would be arrested for being a pedophile & rapist nowadays and the 3 boys in makeup would be crying for not calling them ze, she, they or zem and they'd not be called club kids anymore they'd be obsessed with being trans now, as much as I think GG was just a delusional idiot at least he and the club kids weren't always crying about all this multi binary nonsense, men were still men and girls were still girls lol

Wow this didn’t age well - this was before the Clinton regime started and did even worse to this country than the regime he was complaining against I saw him in this live tour and the CMU speech he gave was way better and less dated - more sociological than this left wing lean
