The narrative that “They were singled out by law enforcement because they liked Metallica” is so fucking absurd. Metallica was one of the biggest bands in the world at the time. They were at the height of their popularity, and liking them was completely mainstream and normal. I was in high school at the time and everyone, including the football jocks, wore a Metallica shirt. Honestly, I would like the bottom line on your opinion, as I can see you have put in much time & energy to the case. What Don said about who Summer looked up to was informative, I thought. As for your reaction to them, Josh, I understand. Of course, we are human and our views can be off at times for the same reason, but I smell exactly what you do with the Wells. 😊In reality, there are many ways to lure a child, some of which involve pre-planning. All the numerous intoxicated phone calls you received from Don along with the insistent turmoil that unfolded online involving these two individuals led me to conclude that summer was significantly influenced by her surroundings... Candance constantly expressed her fear of "losing the children" and their is valid basis for her concern. I believe they associated with questionable individuals and due to the lack of supervision she ultimately found herself in that detrimental environment & succumb to the worst. I've said from the very beginning of this case that there are things worse than death. Human trafficking would be worse than death. So, I pray that that wasn't her fate. I also pray that they find her and lay her to rest! It's been way too long. Such a tragic case.
