When I was young kid , I remember Dutch would being called "field in Europe" and we know why coz of Rud Gulith , the player who has no particular position,who can play in any where and every where in the field, could run all the times,What a player ...

I am leaving this comment for anyone who doesn’t believe me about getting a time machine, and actually using it. Yes, I didn’t pick anything significant in history because YOLO, and yes I am petty enough to leave something like this here to prove it. This video blew up this amazing channel that will eventually make a video like this about Luka Modric, and I will be there (and then) crying my eyes out saying why I didn’t see this legend live? I wish I could go back in time and find this channel to inspire me. Well, I did. First thing was leaving my petty I told you so comment on KZbin, and next step will be to go in debt to say fuck it I’m watching Luka Modric live this year. Great Maldini video. What a legend. 2024 was a mess, eh?

I thought this was a Maldini history, yet the first 19 mins was a Milan history with minor mentions to him. Dissapointing. Appalling pronounciations of Brehme and and Schillachi too. Better Milan golden generation documentaries elsewhere.

Thank you all for supporting this channel. This type of videos are extremely difficult to make, especially since I do everything on my own and I am barely able to cover all the costs with KZbin monetization alone, which is the reason why I decided to create a patreon channel, I will be able to hire video editors, thus creating new videos much quicker than usual. Your help would be invaluable for me and for this channel! the link of the patreon - www.patreon.com/iconarchives

He was so good he could play as midfielder or even forward but thanks to his mind he played as a cb till 41 age.....only the best hit that age....he is a rarity.... once in 20 years someone like him is born
@VictorDiaz-rt3ve
@VictorDiaz-rt3ve 2 ай бұрын
He was a midfielder in the beginning of his career lol, a right winger. Then they converted him to left defense. He wasn't cb until he was past his prime, in his some around mid thirties although he did play as one occasionally before that. It is as a left defender he was at his best

@@VictorDiaz-rt3ve i think he was a lwb.....left wing back in the beggining.....at least thats what i remember its true i only remember from 96-97 onwards when i was 7-8 years old.....maybe during Baresi era he was a mid before the three dutchmen.....

@@VictorDiaz-rt3ve are you talking about his primavera time or what???this is a new thing i didnt know that he played in the mid.Even today the man looks like he could step in the game:))) at 55 he looks 40.....thats godlike genes:)) Little Daniel has most of his DNA.In 2-3 years maybe hell step up.Hes still too little he needs experience.Milan isnt for players under 21.Too much pressure especially if your name is Maldini
@VictorDiaz-rt3ve
@VictorDiaz-rt3ve 2 ай бұрын
@@visanion1361 He started as a right winger. both mid and defense. In those days they used to play 5 -3-2 to 3-5-2 in italy because of the libero system. That's why Maldini played mid and rb. but they changed him to lb and lm(rare) because of Tassoti. Maldini is ambidextrian with his feet (like my older brother, not as good as maldini lol). He played as lb up to he was maybe 32- 34. He was never as good as cb as lb. It doesn't mean he was shit as cb, on the contrary, he was great but as lb he was outstanding. Compare Carles Puyol, an a extremely good rb but that they made into a cb. Why? Because of his leadership skills. NOT saying that Puyol was as good as Maldini but the comparison is valid. Maldini on the other hand couldn't play as lb any longer that is why the put him in the middle. when they asked him why he wasnt running up and down any longer he answered that he was to old. shortly after they moved him. He must have 30 something at the time.
