Yeah, it is hard to justify going hard at a CCG or TCG sometimes. I've been doing ok at holding myself to only buying some occasional cards. But it's so tough! And like you mentioned, it would be a lot easier to justify if I played on a super regular basis. I'm really enjoying Harvest so far. Cute and fun!

Ooo, I haven't had a chance to play that yet. I just checked it out, and they do seem pretty similar in terms of set up and actions. The scoring and special actions are quite a bit different, but I definitely see similarities. I would probably say that unless you love digging into 2 player games and exploring them, you don't need both. That being said, I prefer Compile thematically and we just got the mini expansion and player mat, and they add even more variety and fun.

Luna is so great! Since we've made this video, I also picked up the deluxe edition. It looks even better, and it has some mini expansions as well. Also, this video was made before all of the City Games, and Bonfire, and the Special Edition of CoB all came out. So we may have to redo this list at some point. Lol.

I really like the fire and speed combo. Plague and darkness also synergize well. But we just got the expansion too, so we'll see what that all adds and if that changes my favorites. :)

They are a preselected batch of cards ranging from the first 4 generations of cards. It’s a fun mix and gets you started off nicely.

For sure. It's a fun time waster, and a neat little puzzle to solve.

We got to play about a half of a game of it, and it was so much fun! The stacking of the buildings and tiles was so much fun and it looked incredible afterwards. I can't wait to get a copy so we can play a full game and see how high and complicated we can get. :)

They looked amazing. I stopped at a couple of different table booths, and I want them all! We still have another year or 2 left to save up, but I can't wait to get one of these tables.

Yay, thank you! We never made it over to Restoration unfortunately. In fact, other than the meetings that we had, I only got a chance to walk about 6 aisles out of 30. So that was a bummer. But say hi to Missy for us!

Yeah, we've tweaked our approach over the years. And it is tough sometimes. But the kiddos love taking a break in the kids area, and we try to spend a least an hour or 2 every day in there.

I've hinted at the games a couple of times, but I have 2 that I am actively pitching right now. I had 3 pitches, 2 went great, and 1 was a disaster. lol. I don't know if anything will happen as a result, but they were great experiences and hopefully I'll be able to share a little more in the future. :)
