Harbor freight has come a long ways. With their “new” line of tools they can often rival the overpriced well known brands. I know this well as I have used many power tools on a daily basis for years in my business without issue.

I used the gallery series and had awesome results. I recently tried the emerald line bc it was recommended a bunch here on your tube and it wasn’t nearly as nice as gallery. Gallery dried faster which let me spray way more coats in a day. I could flip doors over and spray without any paint pulling off. Would never use emerald again.

you shouldn't thin those paints, you may not see it, but youre compromising its durability.

I found a barely used 734 on FB market place for $250, but I’m still searching for a good 735 for better dust collection along with a vacuum. $80 is unreal. Solid purchase! You think a 735 is sufficient with a 2.5” dust collection hose (adapted down from 4” or should a 4” hose/dust collection system be used?

I'd love to see you compare it to BM Command. AFAIK Gallery is like $143/gal list (plus the crosslinker if desired). That's a freaking lot for a 1k product. I guess people really like wb cleanup. I think Command is like $75-90/gal.

water CAN be applied for spray applictions but isnt necessary how come people add water to their paint they spray? I have yet to do it.

Because a lot of people have turbine units or compressors that cannot spray paint that is unthinned. Without the proper amount of PSI + Airflow at the gun, the thicker paints (800 CtS+) will spray some bolders, resulting in orange peel. Even the Fuji Q5 Platinum will need 10% for thinning at least. The Semi Pro-2 will require you to thin down to 100-150 CtS for EU, and that's like 40% since the EU starts at like 800 CtS. Without thinning, many smaller compressors or turbine units won't be able to atomize the thicker paints properly.

Aluminum profiles, anticorodal, and cans are not suitable for melting, better parts of engines or pumps, the metal flows more.

Yeah I've been a painter for 15 years...do about 7-10 cab jobs a years and usually only use emerald. I started a set of cabs on Monday and decided to use GS, noticed it was pretty thin. Too see you soup it up even more was pretty insane 😂 like woah.... then low and behold you had runs... Then your gun was spitting i think because you didnt clean it good enough last time idk.... As far as primer, i use pigmented shellac or If i were you. Maybe a sanding sealer.. That kilz primer is garbageee

I'm waiting for 3rd party (Chinese) counterfeits made of metal. Kreg needs to stop making cheap crap out of flimsy plastic if they want serious customers and not just home-DIYers. The 720 is over-engineered IMHO. I use and love an all metal knock-off pocket hole jig modeled after the K4 and mounted to a wide base that is clamped for bench-top use and it works great. I bought the 520 because I got sick of trying to fiddle with an old R3 when I need to drill holes in existing projects (tight/odd spaces), but gladly pay 3x for an all-metal version. Yes, sometimes you need to drill holes after a project is assembled.

Looks to me that the yellow part is a substitute for building a wood shroud to attach to the safety guard. It’s supposed to be adjustable so that your material can be slid under it. I’m assuming it would help with dust collection/ debris.
