I'm so glad you finally filmed from behind: I'm not an instructor and it's so much easier for me to get the moves down from this direction. I really enjoy the choreography!

+jules lynn The breakdown for that 32-count combo is on my website under Cardio Drill 5 here: www.stepjunkie.com/DRILL_2015_09_Drill_5.html. When I realized that I needed more choreography than only 3 32-count combos, I started to add what I call a Cardio Drill to the end of Combo 1. These are 16-count lead-changing drill that I double up to make 32 counts. I need to find a way to show all of the videos associated with one "class" I guess so folks can do the whole hour. :-) Thanks for writing!

@stepjunkie8 жыл бұрын
+Sandy Dixon The breakdowns are on my website at www.stepjunkie.com, and then navigate to the Videos and Intermediate videos page. These are from the September 2015 series, where you'll find Combo 1-2-3, plus a longer finale video than this one. Enjoy!!

Hi! Where do you get your mic holder from?
@stepjunkie8 жыл бұрын
+SPORTSTEP I got that armband mic holder from www.avnow.com. It's an Aeromic mic holder. I absolutely LOVE it!!! It doesn't get nearly as sweaty as a waistband mic holder, so it needs cleaning less often and lasts longer. It has holes at the bottom for the antenna, and uses velcro to tighten onto your arm.

sorry, Dana, i don't want to be a party poop, but PLEASE can you upload the breakdowns for these 3 new workouts. they are amazing and I want to practice them but it is so hard to learn them just by watching the finale. To learn a new combo with you, with the step-by-step method is so much more fun !!! :) greetings from so far away ♥

+Ina Veganersen Hey Ina... I knew I'd missed replying to you for a long time on this one. For these 3 combos, I do not have the breakdown videos available anymore. These were from 2009 when I wasn't always recording the breakdowns. Sorry!

Why aren't you posting as much as you used to? X
@stepjunkie9 жыл бұрын
I'm posting about the same number, but I'm putting them onto my website: www.stepjunkie.com. There are about 50 videos up over there, accessible via the Videos link, organized by the level of Step you want to see (Advanced, Intermediate, or Beginner), plus some Double Step videos and quite a few Workout videos that provide all repetitions as shown in my live class. Just check it out over there. Most videos show my breakdowns, and provide the written choreography, too. You can get notifications of when I post new videos by "Liking" my Step Junkie Facebook page (search for Step Junkie Productions and you'll find it on Facebook), or by checking the Videos page of my website to see the dates when new videos were posted.

I really LOVE this double step workout !!! Even if I don't have 2 steps at home I make some modifications with the moves so it works for just one step ! Great choreos and I'm so glad that the finale is 7:34 minutes long !!! So much fun♥ Thank you very much, Dana. Sending you big hugs from Germany.

Thank you, Ina! I had a request to put more videos up that can be workout videos instead of only showing each layer only once, so my last few video do just this. You can see the breakdowns on my website at www.stepjunkie.com.

This looks really cool. I went through the first 4 combos with you and learned them, but I really rely on the calling when you put it all together! How come you didn't call the moves in this video? Is there another version that has them? I miss the end of my workout. :(
@stepjunkie10 жыл бұрын
I did cue all of the moves while I was teaching, but for this video, I overlaid a different song over the video. The cues are the same as in the original 4 videos showing the breakdowns.
@PwncessPeach10 жыл бұрын
StepJunkie I understand that. If I were learning the routines to TEACH in a class, that would be perfect, but I'm doing the workout directly from the youtube video at home. I did learn the routines in the first 4 videos, but not well enough (especially with the repeats edited out) to be able to do on my own without the calling at the end. Maybe I'm weird, but when I'm in an aerobics class I do more listening than I do watching. I know the names of the moves really well and so I can follow them when I hear them, but without being able to hear them I can't concentrate on what I'm doing and on what the instructor is doing well enough to be able to follow. So, when I got to the end of my workout, I was disappointed because couldn't put all the routines together at the end to finish things off. I probably didn't explain that very well in my original post; I hope this clarifies things.
