Hi. I am an old childhood friend of Jim Rowland, currently in Texas with my daughter. I live in CO. I am a homebound 83 yr old born again Christian who attended a non denominational chapel all my life. Jim hooked me up with your recorded services. I just went through with caring for my husband on hospice. Difficult to see a loved one change so drastically, literally hours at a time. One thing to pass on. We got a childs sno cone maker, and that was the only thing that alerted him. We crushed the ice and squirted flavor on it, an fed him with a spoon. It was wonderful ti see him rouse up a little and enjoying it. Even requesting a flavor now and then. Nothing else got his attention. Please pass that on to his wife. I often want to help with things, as your services are such a blessing to me. Continued prayers. I get your services live in this time zone, just north of Houston. Titus 3:5 (KJV), “NOT by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the WASHING OF REGENERATION, and renewing of the Holy Spirit.” God makes the believer of the Gospel (! Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV), Permanently Born-Again (Spiritually Sinless Standing in God’s Eyes); this is a one-time event. Notice it's NOT by works. This is the SPIRITUAL WASHING that water baptism ONLY SYMBOLIZED. Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) - “For by GRACE are ye saved through faith; and that NOT of YOURSELVES: it is the gift of God; NOT of WORKS, lest any man should boast.” (GRACE means UNDESERVED GIFT. Romans 11:6 (KJV), “And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace....” (Trusting on ANY human effort or works means that person is not under grace; and Grace through Faith, plus Nothing, is the only way to receive salvation. BELIEVING the Gospel, (1 Cor. 15:1-4) with NO Faith on ANY Commandment Keeping, is the ONLY way to Receive Salvation. Works / human effort CANOT be involved. Romans 4:5 (KJV), “But to him that worketh NOT, but BELIEVETH on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” (‘righteousness’ means God makes the believer sinless in God’s eyes concerning standing and salvation) Acts 16:30-31(KJV) - “The Philippian jailer asked Paul and Silas, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.” Romans 3:28 (KJV), “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by FAITH without the deeds of the law.” The UNDESERVED GIFT of Salvation is received by ANY person that Trusts in their Heart ONLY on Jesus’ (God the Son who came as God in flesh) DEATH (includes the shedding of Lord Jesus’ blood), BURIAL, and RESURRECTION for salvation, with NO faith for salvation on any type works / human effort. If a person believes they must live a religious life to be saved, they are under the law and not under GRACE (UNDESERVED GIFT). To be saved with faith on commandment keeping, a person would have to keep ALL of the commandments, which is IMPOSSIBLE. Our BEST righteous acts, for the purpose or earning or qualifying for salvation, are as FILTHY RAGS: Isaiah 64:6 (KJV), “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” Galatians 5:4 (KJV), “Christ is become of NO EFFECT unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law (works); ye are fallen (separated) from grace (not saved). Galatians 3:10 (KJV), “For as many as are of the works of the law ARE UNDER THE CURSE; for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.” (No person can keep all of the commandments) We are ALL guilty of breaking ALL of the law: James 2:10 (KJV), “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of ALL.” Water Baptism cannot be part of HOW a person is saved / born-again. 1 Corinthians 1:17 (KJV) - “For Christ sent me NOT to BAPTIZE, but to preach the gospel; not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of NO EFFECT.” Calling and/or Confessing with your mouth are WORKS and CANNOT be part of How a person receives Eternal Salvation. Romans Ch. 10 includes 'Calling and Confessing' for salvation, and that refers to PHYSICAL Salvation, RESCUE or DELIVERANCE, in the tribulation, NOT Eternal Salvation, which is forgiveness of All Sins, and being made Born-Again (Spiritually Sinless) by God upon belief of the gospel (1 Cor. 15:1-4). The chapter overall refers to two totally different types of salvation. One is eternal salvation received by faith, plus nothing, and the other is verbally calling/confessing for Physical Deliverance in the Tribulation. God through Paul is referring to Joel 2:32, and Paul would understand the meaning and intent of calling or confessing, which is physical deliverance. Eternal Security for the born-again believer is true. A born-again believer CANNOT lose salvation. Ephesians 4:30 (KJV), “And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are SEALED unto the day of redemption.” John 6:37 (KJV), “All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I WILL NO WISE CAST OUT.” 1 Peter 1:4-5 (KJV), “To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are KEPT BY THE POWER GOD through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.” Jesus is God: John 10:33 (KJV), “The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, MAKEST THYSELF GOD.” Colossians 1:15 (KJV), “Jesus is the image of the invisible GOD......" 1 Timothy 3:16 (KJV), “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD was manifest in the flesh." Isaiah 9:6 (KJV), "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty GOD, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

Praying or any other human effort cannot be part of receiving salvation, because there is nothing any person can DO to deserve, qualify for, or earn eternal life / salvation. Salvation must be received by faith, plus nothing. Blessed Are Those That Believe from December 24, 2023 was the message I listened to, and what a blessing! I appreciate the emphasis on looking back on memorials: things the Lord has done for us. I have been bornagain since 1979. A few years later I got into a local New Testament Bible believing church and started to grow. I learned early in my Christian walk with the LORD that the K.J.B is His inspired Word and that He actually speaks expressly to His people through His Word. And that when He speaks clearly we need to step out in faith and do what He commands. That's walking by faith not by sight. In the late 1990's I became very ill and was headed to New York ( from Utah)for my second brain surgery. It was a major 8 hour surgery that included an extensive fusion from the back of my head to C-5. Before I headed to New York I prayed and told the Lord that I knew I could possibly die from this surgery. The very next day I was reading in Psalm 118 and the Lord brought verse 17 leaping off of the page " I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD." That is why I tell people about what the LORD has done for me. He has commanded me to do so. A couple of days later the Lord showed me Judges 6:23 "And the LORD said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not; thou shalt not die." It gave me great peace to have the LORD speak and tell me this. I knew I was not going to die. About a month before that brain surgery I also had a spine surgery in New York. There is much I could say concerning how the Lord helped me when I got spinal meningitis and worked on my behalf. Suffice it to say that he has done great and mighty things for me! In 2020 I leaned( after over 20 years of being deathly ill) that the underlying cause of my neurological problems was, in part, due to extensive exposure to black mold. The LORD has been so good and merciful to me. Satan, it seems, has thrown everything he could at me, but the Lord has been my Helper ( Isaiah 41:10) About a year and a half after that major brain and spine surgery I got into a car accident. As a result I got a blood clot in my lung. After 4 months of trying to find out what was wrong a doctor found it. I was put on blood thinners After the accident I had a nagging pain in my lower abdomen. Around a month after the blood clot in my lung was found the artery in my abdomen broke. I was bleeding internally. When I went back to the hospital they admitted me. But the next morning the doctors told me I was leaving. Never mind that I was a few steps from death and could not walk out of the hospital, they were kicking me out. So I went home. I started praying, earnestly, that the LORD would put a while different staff of doctors and nurses that would really help me. And save my life. Three days later I told my unsaved husband, who is still unsaved, that I needed to go back to the hospital. When I got there the LORD, in His mercy put a whole new set of doctors and nurses in the hospital, just to save my life. The doctor told me that if they didn't take care of the blood clot and internal bleeding, I was going to die. But I knew God keeps people alive by His Sovereign will. The next day they gave me three blood transfusions, and did emergency surgery to stop the internal bleeding. I was loosing a unit of blood a day, but God saved me. The Lord has been so good! I could go on and on about the many times the Lord has miraculously healed and saved me from my persecutors. I am persecuted as you mentioned in your message. Walking with the LORD I know for a fact that there is a Supernatural Christian life that the Lord wants each of us as believers to find and live through Him. No human being could ever help us, and undertake for us as our mighty God! ( Psalm 60:11:12). Thank you for preaching such a powerful message.
