The taishanese were also in the highlands and most likely were the first ones to settle it. Wazee street is 挖溪 pronounced with a "ezh" and means "dig the river" or "dug creek". They were here digging the water ways for gold and qi.

I wish Denver would spend some of that massive tax revenue on improving the bicycle infrastructure. The South Platte trail has been a mess for years with trail users detoured through a marijuana warehouse zone. I've never seen a city waste so much money. They get a huge tax base from DIA, Red Rocks, Winter Park and proceed to waste it all. I get taxed simply because my company is based on Denver and I never come in the office!!

please check out PK management that have been buying low income housing left and right. I have lived in my place over 7years. without any problems until they took over. forced me to sell my deep freeze that I had when I moved in here claiming it over loaded the plug in. my deep freeze was approved for an apartment down the hall. We have gone without water without notice. I am targeted for eviction as retaliation for standing up for myself . slowly others are coming forward to me that are saying they are having the same issues. constant break-ins. trash piled up to Eighth floor the fire department had to send out a tanker truck because the water was shut off with out notice on Fourth of July weekend then we also had no hot water overnight. Grey water coming out of drain in the kitchen. I helped to it clean up. I have been threatened with the loss of my device animal, I have gone three and a half weeks with out the ability to leave I still do not have key or emery code to get in the building to my apartment. It's been over a month. I thought Keira was bad but PK management is by far worse

My wife and I live in Wash Park we looked very seriously at some apts on 16th (1600 Glenarm ), but this was the #1 reason we decided to not move there. Great to see the city taking some action. Another reason to love Denver, an active city government.
