While it is true about the katana, it can be unresponsive and lack that Tube Amp interaction... the solution is very simple. Dont sell your amp... buy a compressor!!!! Putting a compressor infront of the katana is a miracle worker. DO NOT rely on the on board compressor... use a seperate compressor in front of the amp at a low setting... the issue this guy is talking about literally disappears.

it wants an eq pedal in the effects loop. Which transforms it. Overdrive in front doesn't hurt either, and a touch of delay.

Never use a screwdriver on those caps! Are you trying to damage them? Proper tool is a US penny. The slot has a radiused bottom that accepts the radius of the coin perfectly. The flat of a tool steel screwdriver assures damage; the softer material of a penny will cause none. Everyone is an expert on youtube. Viewer beware😉

Problem with GHS fret oil is that it evaporates very quickly, even if you close the container well. 1 month and it’s over

For reference I've only used this stuff on electric, I'm not saying these products don't work, but every time I've tried to use either Dunlop Ultraglide, or Fast Fret, they ruin my strings faster than if I didn't use anything at all. I wash my hands before playing, wipe strings down after, etc. My deductive reasoning tells me its this stuff.

my new favorite pick. This thing has a rebound that is just awesome for downpicking. It's a wrist-saver. Plus, it's really attacky sounding and articulate like a normal Jazz III, but you wont have to constantly readjust your grip on it. The perfect pick for heavy rock music!

Sweetwater is hard to beat. They'll deal with you too. They only drawback is that they charge for a set-up. But to be honest, they are easier to haggle price and it probably works out even.
@YouTubesucksdixАй бұрын
Sweetwater doesnt perform 55 point inspection. I just showed this guitar to a friend and he spotted the bulging crack in seconds...... Dents bulges from the factory obviously you can see that similar size and shape guitar was pressed up against it at sometime during manufacturing. sweetwater sells returns, Demos, and factory seconds as new. They use sales to trick you into buying returned or damaged guitars. They return process is a pain losing tome and money..... they expect many returns bc they are sending out damaged products. They are betting you wont return it, especially sale items with free shipping, that you have to pay for to ship back. And keep all of your materials or they wont take it. Its a scam to get rid of returned damaged items. You must buy expensive guitars that actually get inspected. Dont buy from sweetwater online

Does anyone know what's in Dunlop 65 string cleaner? I have an extremely serious neurological condition. I've been ill 6 years. Until a few months ago I was having seizures 24 7, couldn't walk or feed myself and arranging euthanasia. Then I started healing. I can't go near chemicals. I can't go near perfume, washing powder, bleach, furniture smells, air freshener, glue, parcel tape etc. I react to everything with MCAS. I can only eat 4 foods and drink water. As I was healing. I picked up the guitar after 6 years. I ran out of my Kyser string cleaner and they do don't make it anymore. I found some Dunlop string cleaner. It's in a stupid bottle with a sponge. I used to use Kyser spray. Pump it on a cloth and soak it then put it under each string. The dirt it always underneath. Not the top. This Dunlop was useless. I tried squeezing it and pushing the sponge to try and get it on the cloth. Hardly anything came out. I used what I could. I completely forgot it was on my fingers and put my finger up my nostril. I'm now having seizures and can't stand up, burning up. Spaced out. I breathed in glue fumes at the beginning of the year and was in hospital 8 times. I was only just healing after 6 months where I nearly died. I'm REALLY REALLY WORRIED NOW. I was only discharged from the neuro rehab team yesterday! Does anyone know what's in the cleaner? Is it toxic. If its a solvent, I am in SERIOUS TROUBLE. I thought it was natural.

I think any reason why somebody buys a solid state amp its because doesnt make any sense to take a tube amp for every gig, you can use it with an amp modeler and wont notice the difference unless you wanna hear it. I dont know, thats just my opinion, trying to judge a Boss Katana and compare it to a hi gain tube amp, wont be fair.

I just bought an $8k guitar from them. On the follow up call the sales rep took $800 off and gave me $160 priority next day shipping for free. Guitar arrived well packed and in perfect shape. I did have to adjust a few things but that’s not on them.

Stretch your strings and make tighter, cleaner fingerings when chording and it will stay in tune better. To me the Studio has more depth, sustain and resonance.

YOOOO I WISH I BEEN SAW THISSSS i'm going to try something instead of buying a new strap because i like my leather strap it goes so well with my guitar, going to sew some good elastic onto my strap, each end, of course leaving maybe a 3 inch-ish gap between the elastic and my strap and see if that works.

Listening with headphones, the Custom has a bit more clarity or high end than the Studio. I would assume that is due to the Ebony fretboard which is generally brighter than Rosewood and similar fretboards. Excellent comparison! \m/
