@@rockitup2041 Run its course??? They just toured worldwide for a decade straight man. Im guessing u didnt like the EPs?? The third EP is gonna be more mellow/acoustic/experimental. Whats not to like? All for Kirk doing whatever makes him happy, crowbar etc. Good interview 🤘

@@rockitup2041 I will say, the two EPs took a while to grow on me. Also i was disappointed with no mellower songs but that was the plan. DOWN II & III are my faves. Misfortune Teller Steeple For example have really grown on me

I was really interested to hear what you and your guests had to say about "pay to play" - there's a lot of that around the midwest. I was also felt vindicated to hear the flyers STILL WORK and just posting on social media won't get the word out like pounding the pavement, passing out flyers and talking up the show to your friends.

This is GREAT! We have a college radio station in Rolla - KMNR. it's part of Missouri University of Science & Technology (MS&T). I listen to it most of the time because I NEVER know what I'm going to hear. I do wish Nick Thomas & Bootsy Hambone could have a show on the station, but it's for enrolled students only. The Basement Tapes with Nick & Bootsy does have a good relationship with the DJs of KMNR and we run into each other at local events. I really enjoyed the show, Darren. Jill, Catherine, Kei'ichiro & Monique~
