Carol Burnett's skit on these commercials brought me here - I had NO idea Ann Blythe (Veda from Mildred Pierce) made any commercials, let alone these products!

I would love to hear Cathy endorse and explain sex toys. Only in my wildest dreams, cinnamon rolls would probably be involved. Lots of baking.😂

“Fried eggs are just one of those things that people don’t do that well.” If you need a Snakmaster to fry an egg, you probably need to stay out of the kitchen.

I was 9 years old in 1978 and I remember this commercial very well. Unfortunately, my family was dirt poor. We could hardly afford groceries. Hunger was a constant companion. So, just forget about eating out at a Burger King or anywhere else. The few rare times we got to eat out was only because we were someone else's guest who was paying for us. TV commercials like this one only served to torture me because many was the time I was watching on a growling, empty stomach. How much I wished I could afford to eat out and drop in at my local Burger King at my leisure, whenever the mood hit me, as depicted in this commercial.

She was not very believable - I never like the mom's character in this show. It was considered white brow show in the 1970's.

Sounds like we all feel the same way. This commercial transports me back in time, I feel like I wore out my fingers trying to track this down. The song is so good....ahh...they just don't make them like this anymore. And yes, why couldn't this be a full song.
