In the US it would be closer to a hot-shot. Anyway I totally understand what you are doing - in the EU they don't have much in the way of owner operator trucks. It's so much easier to purchase a small cargo van like this and move freight. Low road tax, fuel is less, it's easier to find parking, etc....

Arriving in the UK, truck drivers get off the club car by the same door, to get on the coach to go to their lorries. Since I have left the channel tunnel (as a staff) years ago, they don't have fixed the club car doors ! Safety ??? Money first !!!!
