Can you tell me how to improve baby feeding bcz my son only feed only 5 min then he sleep

sounds like he might have some ties making him more fatigued and tired during his feeds.. I would team up with a lactation consultant to dive in deeper as to what might be going on

Also I saw many paediatricians and physiotherapists saying don’t hold baby from their bum if they don’t sit yet , as it can lead to improper pelvis and hip development of the baby

Tive been scooping but still have wrist pain, I think it’s due to many different activities where I move and use my wrist incorrectly. Can you tell how to hold baby when you need to burp them? My wrist and whole arm get painful and tired, and baby slips below when I try to hold them vertically.
@gaia.health20 күн бұрын
sometimes a brace might be needed... using a straight wrist is the best to prevent strain on those ligaments as they calm down... addressing why they might need to be burped so much could also help. If baby is not getting air in or does not have an allergy they really shouldn't need to be burped all that often

I feel like my nipples have permanent damage 😢. I have tried so many things. I struggle getting her positioned good as well. She always swings her hands and screams so I get cuts from her scratching and grabbing my nipples then she almost rips my nipple off fifty times 😭😭😭 I just wanna feed my baby without having to pump. I never have time to pump and it hurts cause I can’t get a correct flange then I have to wash it every time and I don’t have time!

I have a week old with me, and i am a c section mom. My baby was spoon fed in initial days due to less milk supply, but the feed wasn't enough. Then we switched her to bottled formula. Now that i am starting to get milk in my breasts, she isn't latching on my nipple. Any ideas?

There could be a few factors involved; this would definitely be a situation we would manage with a lactation consultant. Have you been working with one?
@amberwilliams58399 ай бұрын
Pumping may be the best option at this point. Once the bottle is introduced the baby typically won’t take the breast. There’s a lot of work involved in nursing for the baby, a bottle (for lack of better terms) makes them lazy bc it flows so easily. Good luck❤
@gaia.health9 ай бұрын
@@amberwilliams5839 that can make it challenging but not impossible, we have many babies who both breastfeed and bottle feeds based on the situations of the family and they are fine. Bottle are sometimes necessary but not the end of the journey, that is why lactation consultant can be very helpful in these situations to best assess and recommend what needs to be done to help baby latch
@lh24354 ай бұрын
Try latching aids for the nipple! That helped me in the same situation with 2 children! I got both to take the breast again. Once their mouths are bigger it gets easier as well. They might also have a tight tongue which needs a little cut from a doctor. That was the case for my two kids and it helped. Good luck!!! ❤

Baby also has a posterior tongue tie. That’s why you’re still experiencing problems and clicking during feeds. 90% of babies with a lip tie will also have a posterior tongue tie.

The lift is great but the belly sifting is not correct since your hips are swaying side to side. The movement is helpful but it’s just not showing the traditional sifting that can really relax the deeper ligaments and assist in baby’s optimal position. The mother should be passive and the rebozo is doing the work of gently and rhythmically moving the belly.
@gaia.health10 ай бұрын
there are many ways to add layers to the foundational movement. Through reciprocal inhibition when one side moves the other side is forced to relax to allow that movement. Passive is great and we always preach that, but sometimes layering in movement can be very helpful as well! Thank you for the comment!
