Hii. Hope you are doing well. Out of curiosity, what type of floor and walls are those? We are struggling with plastered walls that keep on peeling and the floors for some reason keep getting slippery no matter what we do.

I just finished having a match with my 20-year-old Dunlop. Jonathan Power hot melt ..20 year old tecnifibre strings! And it plays better than my 2024 Technifibre Carboflex125NS. The Dunlop is not as flickable and powerful, but the touch and feel when your shots are on are the best. I'm questioning my nee racquet choices..Head 370 Graphene Slim en route!

Could the mizuki be used in other raquet games
@kholinar48199 ай бұрын
It would probably do nothing for you in racquetball, any shot that you could hit with this swing would be better hit 6" off the ground for a kill.

If you have an opponent on the court who watches out to you, he will see on your movement what you are up to and will start running to catch the ball.
@bproshek11 ай бұрын
That's always true. But the mizuki is so unexpected that the first time you try it in a match, it's sure to catch your opponent by surprise. If you try it again, maybe not :P but you've given your opponent another thing to think about!

@@bproshekThank you! I like learning from those who already can what I can't yet. I will keep in mind how this surprising shot is called and once I get back to squash, I will try to learn it. But I am in the very beginnig yet as I had to stop due to unfortunate circumstances.

@@muliczakatalin8247 if you're a beginner, it's probably to concentrate on learning the fundamental shots first before learning the trick shots :D Good luck on your squash journey!

@@bproshek it's probably wise to focus on what my teacher sais, once I get back my life and can continue learning. And my teachers sais, if I want to improve, I have to start playing matches.

@@muliczakatalin8247timing wise the person will be behind them and struggle to pick up any shot that's played to the front so the mizuki done well will win most of the time. To get better I'd recommend solos than routines and last match play. The first 2 get you better faster

Would you be able to review the latest release of these rackets please?

Hi, thanks for the comment. The new versions are just cosmetic updates actually so the racquets play the same. I hope that helps.

I see you're wearing the Asics Gel Blade 8 :) I ended up buying a pair for myself and love them. I had a very hard time finding a review for them in English when I was deciding what my next shoe would be. Considering it's a pretty big departure from the Blade 7, I think a proper review of them would be very helpful for potential buyers.

My ankle is wrecked so skipping is a no no for me what would you suggest is a replacement?
@controlthetsports45394 жыл бұрын
Hello! Sorry to hear about your ankle, with regards to footwork exercises like skipping, it's difficult to find ones that aren't going to impact your ankle, especially in terms of squash related movement. However, speaking from personal experience, there are several KZbin videos that focus on workouts with injuries in the area of your foot (I've linked to one of my personal favourites below). Workout with a Foot/Ankle Injury - kzbin.info/www/bejne/ooGaf5eEath9ia8 If you're looking to utilise an exercise similar to skipping to warm up, just selecting one or two of the higher-intensity exercises in these videos as a warm-up. My personal advice if you're hoping to improve footwork would be to focus on other very low-impact footwork exercises, practice executing them slowly and with purpose, for example, one minute of very light ghosting. Obviously, this all depends on the extent of the ankle pain! Hope this helped and hope your ankle recovers soon!
