Love your videos! Would really be into a "Where are they now" sort of round up after the MK4 release of last year for all of the different legacy factions. Since a lot of the factions are "gone" from MK4, it would be great to know what happened to them all since the update. Just a viewer suggestion :)

Thank you. We were actually discussing doing that in the near future. But alas outside of some of the major character deaths and such we dont know where everyone stands but we can make some educated guesses based on the lore.

Oh we will be doing them soon. Every semmester we clear a hordes and Warmachine faction. Last semmester was circle and Khador. This one is Menoth and Trollbloods and next we could do Cryx and Skorne. Or Cygnar and Everyblight. Or vice versa. Really depends on the vote at the end of this semmester so stay tuned and please have your freinds and gamers vote too it helps keep it going in a direction you want

Great piece on Reznick. Glad to see he hasn't changed much since I first got into the game and played Menoth myself. Back when I played wracks had a FA of 3 so you could start the board with 3 on the field and then make some more with Reznick.

Right the little Mini quotes on the cards and on the Book descriptions' were a nice additional Fluff. Made the Zealots even more zealous than they were before. Also i remember on the cards where they would give strategy advice.

Ah yes the Cryx one, the Deathjack. He is an incredible piece of mechanika one that could hold up to 5 focus and if I am remembering correctly was what the Slayer chasis was based off of. He has definitely scared a few opponents back in the day during a few leagues

Right he was pretty spooky. Deathjack was definitely a thing of nightmares with both its necroclaws and horns it could scrap most jacks before even having to focus its attacks, But that was before the infernals war. Then its maliciousness got to mix with Karchev's hatred and thus adding a bunch to the both of them.

Coming back to this after years of not playing (several issues at beginning if MKIII and life situation), collected and played Warhammer and AOS (albeit not much). I was worried and frustrated at beginning of MKIV - but overall I understand why they did it after thinking about it. While I still have a few legacy armies I can cobble together, I found myself wanting to play again, and picked up the Storm Legion box. Painting warjacks again felt good. I look forward to getting an intro game in, and hope to play some more. So far, it looks like it has been doing good, the community has been growing in my local store which helps. I just hope the momentum keeps up.

Exactly. I believe MK4 really took note from the previous editions and set up a game that was faster with more dynamics and more flexibility for both the actual models cards and again with the command cards. Allowing the player to have to own less Warjacks/Warbeast models and just switching out Heads and Arms. Gave alot more options. I appreciate they got all Legacy models caught up into MK4 even while they were developing new models all together. And as for the Lore they got us moved forward yet again. Although about 15 years up but it give some areas to add some story lines in between as well. All in all im happy with it too.

Heck ya. Especially with the new sculps with 3d printing no two unit models look the same. If your coming in now you hit a pretty peak time for models alone. And the new style is way faster to play. And you dont need as many models to play a normal game with someone.

If we are talking "named" weapon rules, then it would be the two rare rules: Warhead, and Secondary Blast. I guess I just like explosions, both on melee and ranged weapons. Sadly no Cygnarans have these rules and the Judicator lost it in MK4 The Castigator and Sanctifier are definitely my favorite regular manite warjacks. The Sanctifier’s soul taker works by acting as a direct gate to Menoth’s domain in Urcaen and when souls pass through it, the warjack gains power, freely given by the soul. If you have to die as a menite, you definitely want it to be near a Sanctifier or a Reclaimer (they work the same). It is one of the safest ways for a soul to pass on.

Getting very Rhulic on that too. Warhead is a fun one. I always appreciate how nice their Warjacks look too. Very Cathedral like and their attention to detail is top notch. Nice thank you for clarifying that how they run souls through it to the Urcaen. I haven't had a whole lot of experience on the same side as the Menites usually its trying to avoid their flames as a heretic. I imagine passing in that way probably is way safer than having to go through the Urcaen wilds and potentially find something more Grymkiny.

Wasn't Voyle killed by Stryker?

He was killed by Stryker but only after the Holy Blade Providence, the Harbingers weapon, was given freely to Stryker to end Voyle. Thus fulfilling the prophecy that Doom would befall any Hierarch who entered Caspia before both sides were united. That weapon cant miss and Voyle was over whelming Stryker prior to being given the weapon. And we all know who speaks for Menoth directly so The Harbinger of Menoth did have some hand in ending Voyles life.

Question of the Day what is your favorite Resistance stat in Warmachine MK4? These were modified up slightly in MK4. I would say my favorite overall would be Blast resistance. Nothing saves my more high def low arm troops then being able to reduce the damage on them especially from a missed blast. But what is your favorite?

That is correct when the trollbloods faction originally came out it was called Hordes the cousin game of Warmachine that used giant warbeast to fight battles and a slightly different game mechanic. These warbeast are able to take on the huge warjacks of the iron kingdoms. Now i beleieve everything got put under the Warmachine Bubble.

@@theworldsays4264 Honestly i would say a solid maybe. As we have studied so far in the Protectorate their Forgiveness usually involves flame somewhere so there is always a chance she could come back a bit more tempered. Although we have seen few casters come back from mk3 to mk4 so far such as The Butcher of Khador and Krueger of Orboros. With both them definitely not of their original factions.

In the rpg the largest warbeast I have faced was the Dracodile that wanted to eat us and our boat, it was a hard battle but we won. The largest warjack was the Deathjack, in the rpg it is even more of a monster and we had to retreat but surviving the Deathjack is a victory all on its own.

I would say Feora the Conquering Flame with Malekus coming in second. I would like to note that while I wouldn't consider it magical the Crucible Guard warcasters almost all have flame throwers or something equivocal.

I have to agree with you there not many casters get up to Feoras fire starter mastery. That is also very true. For some reason the Crucible Guard seem to attach flame throwers on most things. Along with a variety of acids, Oils and poisons. Oh and we cant forget their ice sprayers too. They get goop on everything thats why their armour is alchemically protected.
