My I ask, what's the purpose of the bands around the fingers?

If you’re fighting very fast and with high power, a single finger can be stuck between hands or the fingers of you opponent. So basically you tie your fingers together so you’re able to make a fist, but can’t spread you other fingers and they remain in place.

The control and the speed of his hands is truly spectacular...I can't imagine what he was capable of if he had both of his hands complete...really amazing 👏

Please stop this anti boxing bullshit in your training. Without decent knowledge of boxing all your work is missguiding and not practicable. And obviously the habits boxing creates is not understood.

Good point! There is actually no boxing to see in this clip! No wonder! But of course u can see Philipp and his Students deeling with wide hooks or swings and lesser ellbow centered punching mechanics, but unfortunately bad exhibited due to the fact, that its not part of the ving tsun curriculum. on top of that, even if it would be performed well technically, it still lags of any kind of tactical understanding
