Am I right - these shoes look as if they are a woven fabric - so they will not be waterproof? Footwear that is not waterproof is not suitable for me, as it can rain quite a bit here!

Great review. I have a wide foot and high arch and can never wear shoes that go high over the top of my foot. That style never works for me. It is beautiful and great for narrow feet.

They look good in the adverts but for me they were the weirdest fit. I tried the boots first which were so tight around the ankle they could have fit a flamingo's leg. Having nearly broken my ankle getting them on they were so large and long in the foot that they flapped around like a clown's shoe. I then tried the casual Margot shoe and the V shape at the front nearly cut my foot in half. The red mark on my foot was so deep and hurt like hell. So it was a definite NO from me.

I have wide-ish feet and high arches and have learned over the years that the style of shoe of the first one you tried is not often going to work for me. Those are better for people with narrower feet. I have found shoes like that that work, but more often they will be too tight across. At this point I will only buy those if I'm able to try them on in a store and make sure they will be comfortable. Too high a probability that they won't fit to order them online and have all the hassle of returns etc.

I came across Curly Girl by accident. I have wavy hair, and it never occurred to me that I could get it fairly curly. I’m in the U.S., so don’t know what all is available to you. But, I use a moisturizing shampoo, and no conditioner. Conditioner makes my hair too flat. Then I use a foam that’s for curly hair. For me it’s TREsemme. I distribute a fair amount, about 6 golf ball sizes. Then I use a gel. My favorite is DevaCurl gel, but it’s expensive. My next favorite is Bed Head, it’s more of a cream. Still on the more expensive side. However, Aussie has an inexpensive curling gel, and that works pretty good. Your hair is cute, but I honestly think you could get a lot more wave/curl. I wash my hair every 3 days, but I could probably do 4. I can easily refresh my hair with some water. I also use a defuser to dry my hair. Allowing it to air dry doesn’t work for me.

Thank you for the tips! Yes my hair is still getting more wavy as it's getting used to my styling it this way and the products I use make a HUGE difference. I am still playing around with what works for me. I am curious about trying a foam so I might try that too 😃

I believe i'm autistic. This isn't something that i'm just saying. 7 years ago I got tired of feeling like i didn't fit in anywhere and I started to research. At the time i didn't know what autism was. When I started to read and watch videos about neurodiversety it was like reading and watching stuff about my own life. Anyway, I went to my GP and said that I think that i might autistic. I quickly got an appointment, about two weeks later. Little did i know that the place i went to was known for not doing propper tests and that the doctors there was known for being unproffesional and had little knowledge on girls with autism. The answer I got in the end of all the testing was that I had to low IQ score to be autistic.. Even if I checked all the other boxes. Anyway, now as an adult i've tried to get a second opinion but i get turned down no matter how many times I try.. I just find it pretty frustrating how the system can turn down people that are just looking for answers. The only option I have is to pay a huge amount of money to go to a private place with actually professional people. It costs alot of money but I think it'll be worth it. I just want to know myself better. Also, my apologies for the spelling. I have dyslexia.

I have had good experiences with the Melia and Aria flats. I actually just purchased a second pair of the same Melia ones, my 3rd order in 3 years. I had a good experience with their customer service. Imo, Vivaia makes shoes for style-conscious people with big shoe collections, who have a lot of shoes and actually wear all of them, depending on their outfit (as opposed to hoarders who hoard shoes and things they never wear). If you are the kind of minimalist person who only really wears 2-3 pairs or shoes per year, I wouldn’t suggest Vivaia. I would instead suggest: Doc Martens, Birkenstocks, and Nike.

I’m late coming to this video but would still like to comment. My foot is narrow but with bunions. I purchased a pretty pair of flats which for the most part fit me well and are the correct size, however due to the recycled material, the back of the shoe is quite hard and cut into my heels badly despite having the anti blister pads. They caused bleeding blisters after walking a short distance. I couldn’t exactly return them with my blood in the heels.Sadly I won’t be a repeat customer.

What I don’t like about Vivaias is their poor longevity. I bought their Aria 5s in multiple pairs and the tip got worn out no mater what I did. Once that happened I got a hole at the tip😢, and because of how they’re made you can’t repair them at the cobbler. It’s a shame but they’re like disposable versions of actual leather ballet flats. So I don’t recommend them and they are totally overpriced! I still wear my Arias around the house even with holes, cuz they were so expensive 😂. Regarding the width, I have also wide feet with high volume and narrow heels (9.5-10cm width, 24.5cm length) and Aria5 model size 39 is a bit constricting at my toebox. They feel better if I take the insoles out (cuz my feet are high volume). If you’re into classy barefoot shoes, and you have similar feet to mine I totally recommend to look at Peerko brand. Otherwise, Next forever comfort leather shoes has some good options from time to time. Any questions let me know, I tried a lot of brands! 😂 I find that wide feet shoes don’t fit me well because of my narrow heels, so I had lots of trials and errors and happy to share my learnings😊

Thank you for this honest video, I have seen many influencers advertise them and none as honest as you, especially about the sizing which I have found confusing on the site as I am a size 35 in every shoe I buy yet using their scale I am not! And like you with the return experience which by the way I appreciate your honesty about- having researched people’s experiences with return to the company, many were similar to yours and this has put me off yet I need a comfortable shoe for my work and more importantly for my feet- so your video has been most helpful- would love to know say in four or so weeks of wearing what you still think about the Margot shoes… and oh blisters not nice

I haven't been wearing them a lot this past year because of a foot injury. I currently wear mainly barefoot shoes, they are just the most comfortable for me right now. Another comfortable option would be UIN. (Look for the ones with a wider toebox) I also did a video on them. However I wish I would have sized up in them because since the injury something changed in my feet and now my beloved UIN Denia shoes are too small 😭

I can confirm the second style. I also wear barefoot shoes most of the time and have wide feet. I enjoy wearing these, they are wide enough but still narrower than my foot. Very comfortable for all day but I would not wear them intentionally for a long walk, mainly because of that gap while walking. I bought them to wear for my son's wedding and now often wear them to work. They are a lovely shoe for me and I would buy another pair.

Usually things change organically when I address certain personal believes and therefore react differently to similar situations. This will create new realities which are based on my new believe systems. Once I feel like I’ve found a good balance, set a solid foundation and discovered enough I repeat the same strategy. In some cases this changes daily but if there’s a lot to explore it can last for months or even years. Have fun with the yoga journey - there’s a lot to discover 😁

I’ve had three pairs have wide feet and love the fact they do pointed flats. While very comfortable because of the insoles and flexibility you can’t get away from the fact they are synthetic and so really draw your feet in warmer weather. As long as you are aware it’s ok but not the silver bullet.

This lens helped me understand why I didn't relate to my (correct) diagnosis until I met other autistic people later in life. I find allistics' phrasings too totalizing and they find mine totalizing as well, even when both of us make "leaps of faith" rather than "complete sentences set in stone". With autistic people, I've generally had more of the smooth, free-flowing interactions allistics have with each other. This one-sidedness really reflects on the way the DSM-5 criteria is written, and I'm very glad Dr. Milton has come up with a dialectical lens, because this inequality in interpretations has often lead to our epistemic invisibility.

Just get some Birkenstocks, please. For hard surfaces and standing on your feet all day, a solid thick base with good support is what you need. And they have plenty of space for a wide foot. Plus if you take good care of them, they will last your for a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery long time. I bought a pair 6 years ago, the same pair is still looking good. And trust me when I tell you, I wear them every day as soon as it's warm enough until I'm forced out of them by cold wather. Would never change for any other shoe.
