The gremlins were very active today. It’s for the 16th Sunday after Trinity despite what the screen says. also, the live video doesn’t kick in until after the first hymn.

Hello Starr, we are pleased you liked the serivce. The music at the start was L’Avalanche, composer Stephen Heller (copyright 1936 by H. Freeman & Co). We always put the music details in the comments underneath the video if you want to check what music we use.

Jolly good! Particularly well done over daring to sing the canticles! But if you can find someone to sing psalms and canticles , could he/she not sing the hymns as well? But thank you for this evening, nevertheless! Jon Forsyth

Thanks to all of you for the service, it is lovely to have it, However speaking as a non singer especially of hymns I don’t know - would it be possible to use recordings of sung hymns ? The words by the side as you do now? It would be much more inviting to us to join in. I don’t know the regulations but it would be more joyous if possible.But thank you all anyway for giving us a focus that means Sunday can still be a special day.

Hello Starr, we are really pleased that you are enjoying our videos. Unfortunately, as you have guessed, we cannot use recordings of hymns that other people have made. What you can do is pause our video when the hymn starts and listen to the same hymn on a CD if you have it, or google it to find it on KZbin. Then come back to our video after listening to the hymn, skipping along to the end of the hymn. I will pass your thanks on to the rest of the team.
