Krita pencils are great, but personally I prefer charcoals (there is one great bundle that I have found after seeing its possibilitles on one ov videos of official Krita KZbin channel [link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/omrapZ5rd7yneZI ]). I hope you will try them one day.

Wonderful work, congratulations! Could you explain to me when you use the wet brush and when you use RGBA? Your technique is very good and I would like to absorb as much knowledge as possible from your videos. Thank you and congratulations once again! Your work is an inspiration to me.
@DigiPaint_dickensАй бұрын
Thank you. You can see in the video when which brush do i get. If I can explain it in words... the wet brush when I want to mix and blend colors, and RGBA for stronger contrasts and leave marks and texture.

Hello Could you give me some parameters to draw more flexely with stylus on tablet. I have difficulties with the level of pressure, and the quality of the work does not satisfy me. Thank you for your advice and help
@DigiPaint_dickensАй бұрын
To be honest I never got into the technical details and drivers adjustments. Everything is on default settings for this particular tablet. It works perfectly in Krita but not so well in Photoshop but maybe because my version is very old. My tablet is only $49.99 on Amazon right now, I think anyone can afford it. I'm sorry if I wasn't very helpful.
@mrtctvmusicАй бұрын
@@DigiPaint_dickens Thank you very much for your help. I draw on Krita, and look to draw on tablet with a stylus directly on screen. Since there are no parameters to adjust, thank you again for your advice and help.
@DigiPaint_dickensАй бұрын
I've been there, believe me. I ordered a great 16 inch tablet display and had to return it. It was only HD resolution and too small to feel comfortable to draw on it. I don't know exactly what you mean - tablet or tablet display... they are different things. To be honest investing in 32 inch 4K monitor was a better option for me.

You make it easy for yourself by tracing the image and color pick the reference. Though it is efficient to do so it does not improve your observation skill which you will need if you ever paint from life
@DigiPaint_dickens2 ай бұрын
@luonguyen2005 Excuse me, but none of this is true. There are other of my videos where you can see the whole process. I know from my experience that the sketching part is the most boring, and people usually skip it. You can see I'm using a custom palette and not picking... Think whatever you want. Cheers!
@luonguyen20052 ай бұрын
@@DigiPaint_dickens After seeing the other video I believe you and owe you an apology. In the other video the cursor never goes over to the reference photo while in this video there are numerous occasions the cursor that looks like an eye dropper was over the reference giving the impression that you were color sampling the photo

Nice job but the video itself is of little use. Some narration or at least subtitles, would go a long way.
