They win the square contest today. Those crappy burns guitars don't come close to Fenders. Ernie Douglas fir sure.

The British Left, who were pretty much in charge of Music Journalism really hated Lynsey De Paul. And also Leo Sayer.

I was 7 but I heard this on the radio. It sounds like they sped up the song a pitch though. Thanks for the memories.

It's my new go to song is this one.👍 & Now I just cant stop playing it. Ive heard the song years ago, but I didn't know anythingabout the Honeycombs, as it was before I was born, but after reading about them, i know more. A woman playing on the drums with that thumping sound, so original for the time.👍 👌👏👏 But its that lead guitar melody, an hypnotic chimey sound that stands out in this song for me IMO. 🤔This was their biggest hit, which was a shame they weren't more successful, 👎 😖😤😤but there was lot more competition in them days, & music styles were changing all the time. I will never get tired of hearing this song, nor watching the video, & it's not even my genre of music, but the song just gets to me, in a good way! 👍👌👌👍👏👏👏👏 " Have I the right...

We have been sh1t on since Maggy bloody Thatcher closed the yards, been underpaid, raped by the wealthy investors who made money out of heavy industry, Now we have a great football manager, a ground that is being developed, despite the chagrine of the council. Now, what we need is an indoor training facility for athletes, a velodrome for cyclists, and an Olympic sized swimming pool. WHY WHEN we have produced some of the best athletes in the world, do we get NOWT! DID we need a railway that got peo0le from BIRMINGHAM to LONDON at a cost of £130 billion? Do we still get nowt! I was born on Stanhope Street. Great place, went to Acky Road tec, The BBC get your money for nothing, producing programs about good Geordies! (When the boat comes in,)(Alf Wederson pet), with a condescending att😮itude that that will keep the simple-minded GEODIES happy! Rise up my people, complain to your MP, the LORD mayor, and TELL them! WHAT you want!
