It's sad and rather just stupid that the 'fire' road at the top of the ridge was not permanently opened and would have allowed 2 exits out rather than having gridlock in the canyon. I'm glad my Mom decided to live in Playa Vista rather than there with it's empty reservoir.

These are local properties, so travel expenses generally not covered. I will charge travel fee for anything beyond a certain range.

I have noticed that all along high speed rail there appears to be a large wall going up on either side of the tracks. When people are on high speed rail articling to be able to view anything other than a giant concrete wall? When I took high-speed rail in France, you get a great view of everything, but it appears that here in California there is a giant wall along both sides of the tracks. Can someone please explain that

It was a safety wall that they are forced to build after the Ohio train derailment. They need a wall in between freight and high speed rail in case freight trains derail they don’t kill the hundreds of passengers on the HSR. If people want to know why the cost keeps going up from original estimate this was one of the factors.

Was there two days, got mugged three times. Walking on the streets felt like being hunted. The heat was a legitimate issue. There were homeless and drug addicts everywhere and needles in the street. The safest I felt was in the bayou, and the bayou is full of alligators. Even cabbies are like "no bags in the car, put them in the trunk" because of how dangerous the city is. If you even go into a bodega or drug store to get a soda you'll get harassed going in and leaving. Go on a river cruise you'll lose a wallet. Leave a restaurant with leftovers, you're not getting back to the hotel with them. Don't go with fewer than 4 adult men capable of combat and don't go with children. I would say just don't go for more than a day. There are many lovely things in this city, like Slim Goodie's, the Bayou, Oak Alley, and Mardi Gras world, but the rest of the city really isn't isn't worth the constant danger.

I got a drone this year that I’m going to Map or at least survey the reservoir near my house I’m curious to see how clean it is or how dirty it is there was a dead woman found at the dam here who was killed from 1978. I’m sure I’ll find something incredible I’m going to do it during the winter because of the decrease the amount of plant life and algae growth.
