hello friend, followed all three parts and it's amazing worked but there's a bug for me,e the object keeps rotating even after getting out as i try to move away the mouse to go somewhere else, how to fix please sir ? THE Problem only occurs on rotation, not on translations axis, those are fine

hello very good, Learned a lot and all is working, but I'm trying to combine this with "product configurator" the template of unreal engine, when I click the "walkthrough" button for me , it does remove the parent widget (the main menu) and I used create widget and called the widget that was created in product configurator to start the game, well visually it works, however the button function of that widget won't work anymore (for example the level variants buttons) , it only work if I delete the bp actor we created at first (called widget slide) , it's like it's interfering with BP configurator and won't make it work , please how to combine both ? here's the project of unreal : kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6K8g6ami5xkpJY

Hi there , sorry for the late replay . updating the sofa from the dta link is basically a switch option for the mesh you are trying to replace , or are you referring to update a new list of sofas for the current one

bro what💀 even in the tutorial you can see that the movement sucks. it doesnt follow your cursor properly and you didnt show it in the final showcase, but itll just go very very far, the farther you drag your mouse.

Event Tick is not a good node! If you want to make the Widget rotate towards the Camera all the time, in the Details Panel under the "User Interface" section, the "Space" is set to World. Set this to SCREEN instead, and will always follow the Camera. Remove the Event Tick please :)

I wish to make a curtain just like yours, but the silding of it i want to show it sliding uniformly like as if a motorised curtain, so like at the press of a widget button, the curtian should silde/fold up totally slowly, and press same widget to see curtain open up uniformly to cover up the window.....how to do this? :D

for simple curtains design this can be done the same way we applied it here in our tutorial keeping in mind that cloth simulation is a factor that will affect the motion statue of the curtains , the other option will be bake the animation in your modeling software and import it in UE as alembic and assign the animation to a widget and control it through a time frame the difference is in memory usage the second one is less costly then the first one

UE5 also i am learning at a promicing speed. And am on the part of learning blueprints to create widgets for such button related interactions.

Trying this in UE5, my project is vastly different so I didn't expect this to work immediately but any idea why anywhere I click on-screen returns the value X in print screen? Thanks. EDIT: My line trace also just passes through the meshes, no hit 'square' indicator. FIX: I had to uncheck 'ignore self'... moving a little quickly there... Final thoughts: It works but the error message persists when ending runtime. Controls need refinement, too sensitive and aren't intuitive.

hi there , first you need to confirm if your VR is working inside the default VR template inside unreal engine if the cv1 is connected and working then you should confirm after running the template that its working , if not then check if the oculus plugin is enabled also

Hello, thank you for your tutorial. I have encountered a problem the location of this Character reference was wrong. it was fine until I built and connected the Character Ref Function. The rotation was fine, it moved while the player moved, but the location was somewhere outside the minimap.
