...and then they go on to produce Minutes to Midnight + A Thousand Suns and Living Things with Rick Rubin. Freaking legends.

I always tought that Scott changed his voice intentionally because he was compared to Eddie Vedder.

Drugs/ cigs may have had something to do with how different the “timbre” of his voice was from ‘92-‘97 .. and he’s my fav frontman

As someone who neither hates nor loves this band (idk much about them at all, I’m an ‘04 baby and any older music I know is from close relatives like my parents or found by chance) I really enjoy this story. I like hearing artists tell silly tales of how they accidentally wrote a song, or even heartfelt stories of something personal that was never meant to become a hit.

Well, I first met Scott when Velvet Revolver blew up. I was in highschool and I had never seen a hard rock band like that (and haven't seen one like that ever since). Later on, when I found out he was also the singer of STP, I could not believe it was the same guy. He was chamaleonic not only with his clothing, but with his voice also. He was a lunatic on stage too. Such a damn waste of talent.

Как меня выбесили комментарии женщин о страданиях Оли в отношениях! Такие прям все белопальтовые сидят, обесценивают её состояние, да ещё и вообще не понимают психологию жертвы. Фу
