All families of the world would be blessed through the lineage of Abram, the Lord Jesus Christ, that was to come. The "great nation" that would receive God's blessing, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, would be those of faith in Christ, the Christian nation. Romans 2:28, “For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh. But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; {MM: the Holy Spirit} and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter." {MM: living according to the law of Moses.} Therefore, Christians are the Jews of spiritual Israel, by the circumcision of the heart by the Holy Spirit.
