I have a theory on procrastination. When I feel like I am doing that, I slow down and I think about all the other things that I feel I am not doing either... so I just start doing the 'other' things on my list and then before I know it, I am ready and full of energy and get that thing that I have been putting off, done. But that is just how I work on it. I am really bad and get caught up in loops easily so I am constantly trying to figure out how to get out of them.
@AmyChau09172 күн бұрын
On one of Dan Koe's video he talked about how putting pressure/time on himself he would get more things done. Your theory, I feel like when we get things checked off we feel fired up and we feel like we can conquer the world. I kind of get it -- like things piling up and allowing ourselves to work on the things we are excited about but first clearing the things that are holding us back. Procrastination sucks LOL - I keep saying I need that vision board so when I'm procrastinating I can see where my life would be if I don't do the things I need to do to get the life that I want.

I need to do more for myself. I haven't done anything for over a year and I am starting to feel it. It gets depressing. I am working on getting a new treadmill because the one I have is too bulky and I just don't have room for it. I need a compact one that I can put behind the door or something. Working on it though <3 Ill let you know how that goes.. hahah
@AmyChau09172 күн бұрын
If I may suggest, and this is something I didn't believe in the past, but just changing your diet will be a big improvement without having to exercise. When I started transitioning to the carnivore diet by reducing my carb intake on August 4th, the pounds fell off so easily. Prior to starting low carb to carnivore, I started working out in June (started at 120 lbs) and only lost 2-3 lbs (but I was probably gaining muscle). I really do recommend the carnivore diet. Please try it. I just post on my community page my to go staples I am buying to sustain this diet. For someone who doesn't have too many health issues, even I am able to feel the benefits. Today (9/26/2024) I am 110 lbs. Our bloating is gone. Phil would have some acne on his back, and they are clearing up. His skin is smooth as butter now hehe jk but it's getting there. I even thought for a slight second at one point, hmm if i am losing weight this easily, what is the point of working out LOL. Of course, working out is still good for us. For compact treadmill, I see a few on amazon. I was going to buy one previously but I just never got to doing it.

@AmyChau0917Ай бұрын
I’m new to eating butter but my first actual spoonful of cold butter was the Kirkland salted butter from Costco. I compared it with Kerrygold salted butter and find that Kirkland is slightly less salty and I enjoy that more. Between salted and unsalted I like the salted butter, taste-wise. I love that it melts in your mouth and then slowly you could taste that bit of saltiness at the end. I don’t eat enough butter to say otherwise but between the two for flavor, I like Kirkland salted (although it’s only 95 percent grassfed, I believe)

I remember thinking when I went grocery shopping was “why am I spending money on things that will make me unhealthy” and that help me put back some of the unnecessary snacks. We don't eat a lot of junk food but we don't eat a lot of good food. I can't even make that make sense. The way the economy is right now, its feels like food has become a stress factor to add to everything else. One thing I won't give up though, chocolate. I just love it :)
@AmyChau0917Ай бұрын
You will not believe it, but I have been watching a bunch of carnivore diet videos, and the conclusion is that butter, bacon, meat, and eggs are good for us. I started feeding the kids and Phil mainly all of the above, plus vegetables and fruit. We are currently more on the Ketovore diet but very loosely - nothing strict currently. I am testing out this diet - pretty much adding more animal-based food and reducing carbs and sugar. I don't want to take out vegetables and fruits just yet. I had this thought about eating all meat, eggs, bacon, and butter, but I just couldn't do it right off the bat. Now I am looking into keto/carnivore desserts. I know Phil and the kids love their sweets, so I will meet them in the middle.
