KPSM is one of my favorite places to spot. It’s a great place to train as well. You can get closer to heavies than basically anywhere else in the area. On my training flight today, there were TWO Atlas 744s on the field. One of them took off as we were taxiing out and it was just spectacular. You almost never see 747s at Logan anymore and I saw two together this afternoon in Portsmouth…just beautiful…

Love the 104th. I run outside to watch them every day when they fly over my house. Fell in love with the A-10 and then the F-15 because of these incredible pilots. I'm gonna miss the Eagle when they transition to F-35 next year... Feels like a big part of my life is ending.

There was a Helio Courier on floats down the lake from us on Lake Hood. I used to drool at that plane like the turbo beaver and the Porters on floats. We just had Cessnas

FIFI (not Fifi) My father was a USAAF B-29 navigator in the Pacific 1945. He died in 2016 age 94 and USAF gave him a full military funeral. I have his original flight jacket with squadron insignia that he kept after the war. I have followed Doc's rescue and restoration since the early 2000s. My family are Friends of Doc . My (then 16 year old) son and I toured (but did not fly in) FIFI when she visited Boire Field in Nashua NH in 2018. I wish Doc would come east some day (we are in MA). Paul

Hope the pilot didn't trigger an over G condition while deploying that speed brake through a hard turn 😂. Pilot will owe his/her crew chief a case of his favorite adult beverage and will hopefully volunteer to help pull some panels lol
