Wow! Thanks for the info. I kinda thought they hang around to eat the bees. They are definately creepy lookn. Lol.😂

I have heard those bugs referred to as "bee" assassin bugs. They do have venom that is not good for humans.

Enjoy the fruits of your labor 😊We will definitely hoard the honey we have left over from you from last year. Always so wonderful! It'll be interesting to see about the fall flow. Sue

We are in Wales in UK. We have had exactly same sort of weather over winter. Then our hive swarmed twice in May in a period of 2 weeks. We were able to get them in new hives. Two of our hives are busy but no honey at mo. The last swarm are just settling down so prob won't produce this year. We had 40 jars last year out of a colony we bought from local bee keeper that over wintered. Not sure what we will get this Autum but probably be like yourselves just honey for us. Hoping 2025 will be a bumper crop. Great video. Reassures us that even the expert's have poor production at times . 👍

Appreciate you showing how it really goes sometimes. All my swarm traps had ant issues this year. I was using swarm commander. Last year no ant issues. I suspect there are more ants than usual in the trees this year for whatever reason more so than the lemon grass or swarm commander attracting them.

I love your videos! Would you consider doing short series? Such as all about queens bees, building hives, swarming, ect... that would be great 👍

Great video sir! Who would have thought of all those ants wow! I have heard lemon grass oil attracts swarms but now I know it's not a myth lol. Thank you for the great unfiltered depiction of real bee keeping.
