17:35 The octane rating is different in Europe. The way they calculate it. Yeah the engine will compensate for lower octane but it its a higher compression engine. Long term use of lower octane will wear your engine quicker

The best engine MB ever built? Not. Their v8s are much better

Amen on the resort issue. Stop with the marketing side of it and spend your money of the infrastructure of the park

I’m a new subscriber because I’m selling my home and looking to buy a Country Coach for my retirement home. I love the Country Coaches and I’ve been researching for a couple years. The CC seem to have the best quality in build and owner satisfaction is high. I really want a Magna. If I’m going to live in it I want the finest I can afford, with the most value.

Great example of the "tragedy of the commons" vs private property. Maybe send this link to Harris Walz. They need the lesson!

I have the same opinion about parks not understanding the size of the rigs. I have a 40-foot diesel pusher and flat-tow a full-size half-ton pickup behind it, so I'm about 75 feet long if I don't detach the pickup. These days, I put the "80 feet" down instead of the "40 feet" for the coach. While it's true that the hydraulic leveling will lift the back end (or the front end) of my coach a foot off the ground if it has to gain a level - the jack pads won't survive a week supporting that much weight - so if I get to a site and it looks sketchy, I don't bother, we actually prefer Harvest Hosts for that reason - length is never a problem, and I can always find something level in a winery parking lot. We do Harvest Hosts en route, and we are extremely picky about where we stay for a week at destinations so we can catch up on laundry (the only thing that we can't do without hookups).

Most of the RV parks in California suck, and maybe a handful are suitable for diesel-pushers. We live here, and it is only 'straight in' (from a neighboring state), park in our backyard, and 'straight out' when we leave on another trip. We top off the tank in Reno or Oregon or whatever and zero intent (or risk) of having to fuel the motorhome here either. Oh, and the condition of the highways is the worst in the US as well, because the state has been diverting highway funds (and vehicle registration fees) to choo-choo trains for decades. State Parks, Thousand Trails, etc., are all filled with very "permanent-looking" campers - typically with cars on blocks, permanent "porches," and I have even seen backyard sheds installed behind them. It's much more enjoyable to spend the vacation dollars in Wyoming, South Dakota, Oregon Coast, British Columbia, Montana, Utah, Iowa, etc. There is one new one that just opened that looks nice - I think it is less than a month old, pricey though, Grass Valley RV Resort - saw it on RVLife this morning.

I'm not understanding something. 02:30 --> 72 kWh per day? In Tucson, the avg monthly electric bill for residential customers is 1,330 kWh. 1330 / 30 days = 44 kWh/day for a house. Anyway, if you could add 8 solar panels on the roof with an inverter, that could be around 2.5 kW/Hr. Arizona gets 6.5 solar hours per day. 6.5 x 2.5 = 16.25 kWh per day.
@edbenelli53743 ай бұрын
Well, in Sacramento, SMUD Summer rates are: Off-Peak Midnight - noon $0.1425 kWh; Mid-Peak Noon - 5 p.m. $0.1967 kWh ; Peak 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. $0.3462 kWh. Lots of homeowners have solar PV with net-metering electricity buy-back. Typical PV system here is 4-6 kw, with an installation cost of $2.50 - $3.00 per watt.

Thank you for sharing, i have looked and looked for this information but no one had posted this until i ran into your video. 70kw per day is little high and good to know.

just going to say in regards to your labor hours and cost. say for example, you had 6 different mechanics work on it (from removal to disassembly to repair to install) and each mechanic worked on it for four hours, EVEN IF it was all at the same time (example, 6 mechanics working on it from 1pm-5pm) thats how youd be charged 24 hours labor. granted this is just an example. it couldve been 2 mechanics for 12 hours, etc.
