I'm encouraged by Will the last two weeks. He could have had a TD to Oliver but threw it behind him. Great adjustment and Will was blanketed by defenders. No problems with the INT in that situation as you are fighting the clock as well. Great podcast again fellas. It'll be interesting against another good defense in Houston if he can keep it going. Having a third good week against another good defense is going to really make the '25 talk heat up.

I love listening/watching you guys but I've got to disagree with you on the fact we didn't play well enough to win, some of them calls were huge momentum swings I think the titans win something like 20-13 without the penalties. I still think we can improve but we deserved to win that game
@MusicCityAudiblePodcast3 сағат бұрын
It's totally fair to say the Titans would/could have won this game if not for the penalties, we just wanted to leave some room for acknowledging the Titans could have played better as well.

I wanted more passing than running in this game as the Vikings are 5th worst in pass yards allowed per game and 1st in run defense so I am not mad about the running stats since we knew where there Vikings strength was. QBs that beat the Vikings were above the 8 yards per attempt stat line, which is what I wanted to see from Levis and he did that. I would have liked to see at least 50 yards on the ground for Tony and maybe that get's us the W.
@MusicCityAudiblePodcast5 сағат бұрын
It's true! I mentioned on the preview show that Titans had to air it out because the Vikings have been so good versus the pass.

Top 3 worst officiating I’ve seen in my life! Maybe these refs should get fined for bad calls and they’ll look like they care a little more. They need to be held more accountable and the line needs to be redrawn in the sand cuz this is pro sports and some of these calls are wayy too ridiculously obvious. They sleep at night great too, which sickens me lol

I am worried that Levis, while having much better performance today, made the wrong decision on almost every option play called today. Pulling the ball from the back when the edge defender basically has you wrapped is reflective of the bone-headedness you probably can never completely coach out of Will.
@MusicCityAudiblePodcast6 сағат бұрын
I do think he'll always have some boneheaded-ness in him lol. Extreme example, but so does Josh Allen. Limiting those and maximizing the big plays is key. No doubt Levis made the wrong reads on RPOs.

Been apathetic most of the season, but this game got me heated. Have watched a ton of football in my life, and this was the most obvious and blatant showing of refs having a severe bias against one team. Levis' best game of the season too, showing why I think he should absolutely get 2025 as well. Actually hoping Callahan gets fined this week, cause this shit needs to be called out.

I thought Levis’s throw on the interception was perfect but Ridley slowed up for just a second so it looked like an overthrow. He still threw into double coverage but if Ridley runs full out the whole time he would have been able to knock the ball away or maybe pick up a PI.

What did you guys think of the darnold fumble that they overturned that Key forced? I thought that ball was loose and the “regained control” thing just bc he got 2 hands on it for 0.5 seconds was kind of BS
@MusicCityAudiblePodcast19 сағат бұрын
Certainly looked like that ball was moving before his knee hit the ground, but I wasn't shocked at the call, nor did we think it was as bad as the others ..
@Mrstulander17 сағат бұрын
if he had control he would of not fumbled it
@chopsnz88Сағат бұрын
You're right. This was one where the slow motion and pausing the frame with his knee down "looks like he has control" but absolutely did not have control as the ball came out before he hit the ground. Close call though and in the end there were far more egregious calls by the refs on other plays (Unnecessary roughness, illegal formation and illegal contact) that really killed the Titans.
@gusjoe138120 сағат бұрын
I like the resiliency of the team this game even if the refs made sure that we lost this one. At this point, the only way the Titans could have won that game is if they made a trip with the refs to the waters of Lake Minnetonka to purify themselves lol (Dave Chapelle's voice). On the other hand, I'm not too mad at the loss since we remain in pole position for a high draft pick...call me conflicted I guess. Levis is showing progress just enough to be a bridge QB next season. If he becomes more, good but I'm not there yet with him. The RT position at this point is just a battle of backup RT next offseason, if not all of them being gone this offseason...what a mess ouff. The defense missing a lot of key players held their own for the most part vs a potent offense. Let the tank continues while we get more clarity for next offseason
@MusicCityAudiblePodcast19 сағат бұрын
Levis is definitely showing progress and it's going to be an interesting offseason discussion. The RT situation is beyond untenable.

I am actually going to this game, so everyone pray that I don’t consider it a monumental waste of money at 3:30 CT on Sunday lol. Couple of things 1. It’ll be fun to watch the movable force v. stoppable object that is Sam Darnold’s redzone struggles v. Titans’ horrible redzone defense. Something has got to break 2. I think this game will be competitive for, like you all sorta alluded to, at least 3 quarters. Maybe 4. Vikings have looked pedestrian since the 5-0 start and have played some bad teams 3. Do y’all see James Pearce as an EDGE that could be a top 5 pick? Would love to have him be worthy of a pick to shit some Vols fans up lol. 4. Do y’all think Allar and Nuss may fall to the second round, and the Titans could pull another Levis and take a skill player in the first then a QB at the top of the second? I hate the idea of taking a QB in the first in this draft, so it’d be cool if that could work Also fellas, I know the season is lost but I really enjoy y’all’s insight on previewing and reviewing the games left on the schedule! Lots of these players and coaches will be on the team next year, so it’s nice to hear y’all analysis on how they played or how they may play. Thru good and bad, regular season football is what we ask for all spring and summer!

We hope you enjoy Sunday's game! I personally don't see James Pearce Jr as a top 5 player right now. That could change, but Abdul Carter is my only premier top five edge. If Herbert didn’t fumble that ball, then we got completely screwed when they called Dobbs fumbling in that Jags game that if we won we would have been the playoffs in 2022. If anything HERBERT’s fumble was much more persuasive than Dobbs. I truly believe there was no doubt Herbert fumbled and that very well could have changed the outcome of this game. Your a titans fan you think every call is wrong if it goes against your team im a chargers fan and it def. Look like a forward pass but c,mon dont think it would of mattered at all you should be wanting the best draft slot as possible and yeah since sports betting became legal it totally messed up the game their is way too much money being thrown around fot the refs to not affect the outcomes of the games they can make easy money being corrupt they need a way to have 100% not biased reffing of the games its super blatant as soon as sports betting started reffing went to shit

@@jamesbauer3215 I totally agree, imo promoting, and encouraging people to gamble is bad for humanity, as well as bad for the game. It's fun to place small bets every once in a while, but can become a very slippery slope. People lose their livelihood every day from gambling, not a fan.

Levis definitely played his best game of the year. Huge step in the right direction and needed for his confidence as we go forward. Excited to see him build on this. He played a game without doing 80% of the bad shit he has done before. Cut out holding the ball too long and see how he looks. Onto that reversal call… COMPLETE BS!!!!!!! I am SO sick of this league with this crap. They ALWAYS take the more attractive option when it’s close and the Titans are NEVER that option. I am so sick of it!! It is complete bias! They do nothing to increase transparency and awareness and since it’s the Titans, and we suck, no one will push hard on them and no one can say anything without getting fined. Completely egregious BS, and I swear it just reeks of corruption. I can’t stand it. I’m mad and talking crazy, but I genuinely think they should be taken to federal court over the refereeing of their games now that they are married to sportsbooks. Also I feel that Mike Vrable’s first season as head coach had plenty of flaws that made me wonder if he was a long term coach. I feel Cally still should be given a solid 2 seasons to see if he has it. The special teams is just a bin fire.
