How did Bokke win? Luck, pure f'ing luck brought about by drive and pluck. Those last three games in 2023 RWC could have gone either way with ease. All three were nasty, especially the final. 2019 RWC was the more dominant performance, except for the loss against NZ and the 50/50 against Wales in quarter finals. Best finals every, Bokke dominating England, such beauty. You could be by far the best team in the world, but without luck and pluck you can easy get booted out in quarter finals. Plan and train to win the full 90, then you should win the full 80 with some fuel left over in the tank.

I think you have missed the content of the video - because this isn't about the RWC but the Rugby Championship. Which the Boks won quite convincingly.

The 1:4:2:1 system has been a dangerous weapon in the hands of the Boks. We don't need to be reminded of how dangerous Kolbe, Arendse and Mapimpi are. But the edge forwards Kolisi and PSDT (or Van Staden, Kwagga, Dixon, or whoever we have on) now count as missile runners that force defenders to stop them and in offloading, giving as much space as possible to the dangerous outside backs. But what if the attack doesn't work as planned? Then you have two of the best rucking forwards right there, ensuring that the wings aren't isolated and the Boks get to recycle the ball, instead kf seeing it turned over. So what are the drawbacks? Well, you are taking out two of your best forwards to go to the edges that might leave you light in the forwards department. If you have ever wondered why we usually go for bigger, more ohysical forwards like De Allende, Kriel, De Villiers, Fourie etc, this is why. Because we can just pluck a centre out, anoint him as a forward and put him in a forwards pod. So that means you can take away the bulk of PTSD and Kolisi... But you still have a bulky boi able to fill in for them in the centre.

The world fails to realise how hard Springbok rugby has worked over the past few centuries. Even if that cup doesn't stay in SA. The boys will fight for it like it's their birthright.
