My chains always seem to end up with uneven tension between the two sides and centre :( I guess it'll come with more practice

You suck at loading. We allow ten minutes per trailer. And that's with 70-80 sticks. Pick up the pace. Time is money.

Great vid of how it is supposed to be done!!! Especially when you throw them over the tires. The tails probably not quite touching the ground so when you roll on them they will be as tight as you will need them and will stay tight!!! Also...having them as tight as possible is overrated! Some guys that chain up several times a day take the locks off and put another hook there. No bungees and no cam tighteners!!! Ever see a tire chain overheat and melt the rubber into the tire?
