If Dennis had of potted all those balls we wouldn't have had to stop up till after 2oclock now would we LOL What a legend, What a Super Bloke he is as is our Steve, They are the Comedy of snooker, The Laurel and Hardy of snooker if you like, By rights this shouldn't be funny, But because It's Our Steve and Dennis, With there Big Personality's And Senses of Humour, Well It's Just Hilariously Funny, Oh And to Add to what I have just said, They are also two of the most Nicest Guys who ever picked up a cue, In 4 words i will sum them up, The Gentlemen of snooker. Thanx four the Memory's Guys, And to think i was only 4 years old when i first watched this, Yes i was actually aloud to stop up and watch it, Great video mate Thanx 4 keeping this on you tube, Great wig Steve i have one just like it LOL. And those Glasses Well Id'e give my right arm four those, Could you imagine if Dennis Taylor had of come into the Arena wearing those, Then Steve came out with that Silly wig on, They wouldn't have been able to play a shot for laughing, Could you imagine the commentating, well dear dear me What is going on out there, All we need now is for Alex Higgins to walk in and we've had it, YEH! he walks in with a Steve Davis Ginger wig on And says, I hate you Steve, Because of you i only ever won 2 world Titles LOL And walks out with the Trophy, OY Where's he going with our Trophy Dennis, OH let him keep it Steve He's only saw cause he only won twice, we don't need a Trophy do we boy's and girls, NAA LOL I know We'll play for money, Good idea Steve, Shall we call it a Fiver Dennis, HEY Stingy Ging Make it a Tena and your on< LOL And ted Low the commentator says This is Unbelievable, I can't Believe what we are seeing, This will go down in snooker History For all the wrong reasons LOL. Sos Mate couldn't resist Wrighting a little script to make you laugh, Hope you like it Mate.

The first time Dennis was ahead in the match was when he potted the final ball, the final black, in the final frame of the world championship final. True story 😮

Makes you proud to be from Belfast when u look at some of the genius sportmen who were from here, like George Best and Alex Higgins. Imagine how good both would have been if not alcoholics! Legends though.

im confused, dennis won by potting to the corner pocket before the one to the middle they show here. weird.

Alex brought snooker to television and the masses. Genius, maverick, womaniser, and boozer - but snooker has never been the same since his demise and never will be again. R.I.P Hurricane ❤

always thought the session before this one is the one that changed the rocket's career. as i recall he was down 5-3 going in. the public had robertson and it felt like ronnie was teetering on the brink of irrelevancy. he won the session 6-2 in an aggressive attacking manner and then dominated for years to come. took this third session here easily and the rest is history

Excellent! Thank you for putting this together. Just one request: please, please, please either turn down the music volume or get rid of it. Completely unnecessary and gets a bit annoying after a while, but, again, thank you for your work. I love watching Ronnie play.

Alex was a one-off, a cue action that would make Joe Davis weep, and so many nervous ticks. He looked, and was, brittle and fragile, but on this night he reached deep within his reserves of talent and determination and pulled out a memorable victory against one of the all time greats of the game.

I think he had a form of tourettes which while causing tics also allowed him to hyperfocus on fine motor movements.

Still enjoy this, the look on Steve's face when the pink hung on the pocket lip, and his off the cushion shot that missed by millimetres

Alex Higgins was hobbling round the table in this match after falling out of the window in a domestic with his girlfriend. Beats the future seven-time world champion. Interesting to know what Alex would have thought of Ronnie if he were here now.

I remember watching that in my living room as a 14 year old kid. I had school the next day but sat up to 1am glued to that. It was Monday morning the school to. Before they changed the last session to a Monday night. One of the very few occasions where everyone knew exactly where and what they were doing that night all those years ago. Nearly 40 years ago now
