Guarantee this will leak. Brick is a reservoir cladding so once it stores enough water sunlight will drive the water behind the brick. The masonry opening will have a lintel with weepholes which will now be behind the roof. All this flashing that you did on the surface of the brick is going to be meaningless. And I guarantee that the Stone sill on the window above that's in two parts will be an area of water infiltration in time.

Thanks for your comment, our GRP products are designed to the highest standards and won’t leak unless damaged. The flashing is necessary as a secondary seal to the back edge of the GRP upstand (correct installation is a mastic seal around the upstand as a minimum) and drive water, that comes down the surface of the building, to run off the roof of the canopy, protecting what is beneath. We don’t supply the sills in this situation, but correct installation of our GRP products, including the flashing element, will direct water from anything leading down to the GRP product roof in the right direction and away from the building. Furthermore there is an air gap around where the roof is supported by the base for ventilation purposes, allowing any potential moisture to escape, avoiding condensation. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to get in touch via our website igelements.com/contact/
