Wow! Solid technique, brilliant sound, very sensitive phrasing and special musical moments. They’d have to be insane to not accept you. You are an amazing violinist. My only comment would be to work on an even smoother sound on Mozart and possibly a wider dynamic range. Way better than what I could do though.

I am thinking about auditioning next year, what was the process of applying like? When does the excerpts and application information come out?

I played my solo from memory, but I don’t think it is a requirement.

@@juliejules7780For me, if I practice a piece enough, I will be able to memorize it pretty easily, however, this takes a few months (it also depends on the piece) It also helps to listen to recordings of the piece a lot!

omg my friend is in this orchestra and now audition videos pop up!! and you're so good!! the 3rd movement of mendelssohn is my favorite and I've been trying to learn it for so long. you're an inspiration for sure.
