@@eddasilva6948 The GRS is simple and must have to change from a 4 to 8 way joy. If you have 1 joy, its just the main kit. If you have two joys its the main kit plus the add on kit. They are both controlled from the same controller. Its easy you just snap it on the joystick. Plug the board into the usb for power. Run the wire from the joy to the board to the button. They give you everything and the wires come with connectors on it so no soldering. GRS sells on amazon GRS Switchable 4-to-8-Way Restrictor All in One Kit and extension kit for 2nd joy. I dont remember if the stock joystick is a sanwa type gate. You may need to change the joystick. Mine were both changed when the created the control panel. Note my conversion has a raspberry PI in it.

This setup was using an x96 air with Emulec. I have about 20 Virtualman intros. You can find into videos on KZbin and cut down the time to about 45 seconds. The control panel is from Arcademodup. If you like this control panel you should look at the version 2.0 I created with them. Has two joysticks and track ball. Link to video kzbin.info/www/bejne/rIGbY5KFg7egZ5I. I havent made a new video yet, but I recenlty upgraded this to Rasperry PI 5 and Batocera.

You have to rotate and resize videos to fit screen. 1080 resolution is 1920x 1080 for horizontal. To get vertical you change it to 1080 x 1920. There is a free on line tool www.onlineconverter.com/resize-video that lets you do this.

hey did you notice issues with green gain, the canera put too much green and wheb i have it set correctly it only works wheb i go to camera settings and it suddenly update to the camera gain settings i set it else it's different or something

@@ReviewCantina please do. it seems like a bug , serious bug and the support doesn't care as shit. to reach them it takes 3 months and when they answer they don't do anything. I am so sick of this I'll just buy the new Lytmi pro ambilight , I think ambivision just created a new company or something and don't care anymore about ambivision. I just want to know how to fix this if not I just buy it , but I tried everything and I can't play games or watch movies with this crap. It just ruins the immersion. I also have a projector 100 and think how crap it is there . I never knew this is how it did it when going into the camera it is fixed, I always thought I fixed it but it always returned when the camera turns off and on

Bro, I can get everything working in the old app. Both the controller, and the strip show up. But I open the new app, and it isn't connected, nor does it connect.

Are you using IOS or Andriod? Does your wifi password any special characters. @#$%? Try unistalling new app and reinstalling. If the login process is already working in old app, you should be able open new app without updating credentials.

@@ReviewCantina I am using Android. No special characters at all. The old app works instantly, but when I open the new app, the controller has a red x on it. It never finds devices. I did uninstall and reinstall new app.

@@ParkVictoriaMission I had that issue when I first started using the product, I think the way I fixed it was installing on another device and then it fixed both. Unfortunitly, I think you you may need to redue the old app credential setup. I never able to just use the new app to set up credentials, always have to set up old and then new works, they should fix that.

@@sjaaklent9569 Ambivision breaks down colors better, you have more control. the app may be more challing then the govee but there is updside. You can make the screen not light up if its dark which awesome. Half the screen can be black while lights on one side. I have 10 videos showing it. Also have video with Govee on same TV. I bought the govee first to see if I liked the lights on the TV. Its around 50-70 dollars look for deals. Figure whats the worst thing to happen I loose 50, I can live with that. After awhile the camera on the TV started to bother me. I have a 5k dollar tv with ugly camera mounted on it. Also, size of TV. Ambvision allows you to put the lights at the edge of 77 inch TV. The govee max is 65. If your TV is like mine, you have about 10 inches from the edge of each side. The ambvision is expensive its around 300. The TV lighting is cool novitly item. If your on the fence go with the cheep one and try it. Hope this helps.

@Richie Pascale. Richie I was just about to order Ambivision Pro RGBW, but I was a little bit surprised at the price. Without making this a long drawn out question I hope you don't find me been rude in asking straight question. As I said in a earlier comment I have been watching so much videos on trying to make the correct decision for my TV room. The Govee immersion kit is more than half the price of this system then I was looking at Lytmi Neo HDMI 2.0 and this uses something like the Hue system but I think about half the price are less than half. Then I come to the Hue system the most expensive system to be honest it's as expensive as some TVs here in Ireland. My biggest concerns is I can't go into any shops here in Ireland as you can not buy anything like this off the shelf in our tiny county. The only thing I have is KZbin videos and as you may have experience yourself on something else, what you see on screen may not look as well when you get it yourself. Please do not think this is anything negative about you. I'M just half lost on exactly what to purchase. If the Ambivision Pro was about the same price as Govee I think I might just buy the Ambivision Pro and take a chance. But because you have said this is your 2nd lot of ambient lights for your TV. Can I ask in your opinion from watching reviews yourself this is the best value for money are would you think yes the Hue system is more expensive but better, are not better are the same obviously this is your opinion. As I said before I found your review to be the most honest and sincere. So I'd really appreciate it if you could give me a little more of your own personal opinion. If I have to wait and save extra money I would do this if it was your opinion it's better. Thanks again Richie

If you dont mind the camera on the TV, the Govee is super cheep and works. For me it was all about getting the camera off the TV. The Ambivision is better, but yes it comes with a price. Also the Govee is simple set up. Its not perfect, but it works. The reason I didnt go with HUE or other HDMI version is it only works on specfic inputs and picture types. Plus you would need to run all video through a hub, when I use my TV to stream not a box. To bad you in Ireland, I have a gove in box I dont use, but you could get it new for about the same price I would have to pay to ship. Good luck Richie

The thing is as a consumer your not sure if the person doing the review is like a salesman are woman for what ever product they are reviewing. I have watched all your videos on these LEDs and I believe what your saying is your own real opinion, this is why I am going to put in an order right now for the Ambivision Pro. I don't use it for everything, I use it for really good movies at night. Example a movie with explosions, fire, ect are awesome. It extends the action right off the screen. I don't have it on with the news or sports or just regular tv. Also the way I have it set up lights don't go on in dark scenes (black). I have several videos showing it. Hope this helps. @@ozzman39 The main reason I chose this one was I originally had a govee and all other option you need to run the HDMI though them but they didnt work with all formats. The govee had the camera mounted on the tv, I tried it but after a while it bothered me. This gave me the option to place the camera anywhere in room and works with every type of input.

I got everything installed ran a few tests & everything was working fine then I noticed the end of the strip that plugs into the Magic Link about 10 of those LEDS just randomly start flickering. I did have some issues connecting the start of the strip into that white connector. Any idea on what could be causing the randoming flickering?

Try fixing the dot in the capture window for that corner. Move it in a little bit. You can also try changing the refresh rate, but most likely its the capture dot.

@@ReviewCantina yeah I messed around with that, made it flicker a little less but still is there. I think it's because of the trouble I had connecting the end of the strip after i cut it into that little white connector. Do you slide the strip under those prongs or do they have to be on top? I tried lookin for a video when I was setting them up but this 1 guy showed it for like half a second lol

Did you make the power loop for the leds. That's where you connect the end to the beginning of the strip? Do you have the right count of leds in the app?

@@ReviewCantina Yeah did all that. I dont know If me having trouble inserting the end cut part of the strip into that white part is what is causing those few LEDS near it to be random. If I run the Rainbow test or Fireplace test it works fine then just a few seconds in a few little random colors would pop up towards the end of that strip so near the bottom left corner. Dont know if its because I didnt insert the cut part correctly or what 🤔

Hi Richie, thanks to your videos. I am a very proud owner of the ambivision pro. So glad i didnt buy the govee. But after i made my setup, i realized i made a mistake. I didnt place the led strip close to the edges and i would like to do that now for a better experience but I need to buy a led strip 3pin connector to add and extend the led strip to fit the edges. Can you recommend a connector for me please!? Would love you help

You should place it at the edge. That will give you the best results. I dont know what connector to use, when I got my led strip it was actually larger then my set and had to shorten it.

There is two settings in the app, you want teh segmented option. Make sure you calibration is correct, end points. Its not always perfect. For the price its a good entry level.

First, Do you have the correct settings for where the lights start and count? Second, correct TV type. And 3rd correct screen orientation? Switch to non camera mode to see lights are working around whole TV and then switch back. Start with you tube color test. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bqaXhq2wf790i8k

@@iordachescucodrin4876 3-5 is good. If you to close you start seeing each ligh individually(looks dotted). I had this issue on the bottom and had to lower the brightness on that part to smooth it out.

Hey, when you mention screen refresh rate at around 3:00 and its on 50, does that correlate with the hz/fps? I see no option there for 60 so does that mean the camera won't pick up 60fps content like games?

They dont give much info on this. I just suggest play with it. Choose different rates to see what works best for you.

For me its great. I find I only use it for action movies the ones with laser, explosions ect. Its a cool gadget. Its on the expensive side, but I went with this option because I didn't want a camera on my TV anymore.

The only thing I was able to do is add it to my remote. You can program any remote buttons to 1 turn on/off, 2 switch between modes, 3 switch between menus. Voice activation from google would be great, but I haven't figure a way to get it work.

Hi ritchie my 55inch TV is not flush against the wall ...its roughly 15cm from the wall ... will I get excessive colour bleeding not having my TV flush to the wall

It actually better not to be flush against the wall. My Oled gives me about 3-4 inches on the left, top and right from the wall. The bottom is right up on the wall I wish there was space. The extra space allows more light.

Why do we need the camera for? What’s the job of the camera? I mean, aren’t the straps enough behind the tv?

The camera is needed in Capture mode to capture the colors on the tv and send it back to the light strips. You can use the strips not in capture mode, but then they wont match the screen your watching.

Hey Richie, I was about to get the Govee immersion for my 77" Sony OLED but then came across your videos. Which would you recommend?

The Govee wont be on the edge of the TV. I had the Govee on my 77 LG Oled. It will be about 6 inches in on each side. Also you have to have a camera on your TV. The reason I purchased it, was the price. For 70 dollars I figured I give it try to see if I liked it. After I decided I liked having the lights on the TV, I wanted a solution with no camera on the TV. The reason I switched is I didn't want the camera on my set. The Ambivision is definitely better all around. Its has better light separation and you have a lot of control. No camera on my expensive tv and lights are on the edge of the TV. The downside is its about 4 times the price and its more complex to set up. For me, no camera on the TV is worth it. I have 10 plus videos on the Ambivision pro and a few with my old Govee.

Hi! Now I have the govee installed, my TV is 75 ", is there much difference with the ambivision? The ones I have do not cover the entire screen and there are shadows and in these I see that everything works much better.

I like the Ambvision way more. First, I have a 77 inch TV and with the Ambivision you can get the lights on the edge of the TV. Second, the breaking up of the lights is far superior. Third, no camera stuck on top or bottom of your TV. And Last, it works better overall.

Ambivision, no you don't attach it to the TV. You can place in anywhere in the room. In front, on the ceiling, left wall, right wall.
