i just went through that as well. it's cause if you end up stopping at the checkpoint where you start playing as carlos or reload the checkpoint tyrell will end up glitched where you can't proceed without tyrell unlocking the rpd. truthfully i don't know if this is just on ps5 or both ps4 and ps5 but capcom really needs to look into it cause yea it really does screw players over.

Can you imagine how utterly terrifying this would be from the couple's perspective? Two wanted fugitives break into your home and despite being prepared, they somehow managed to subdue you and your spouse. You're then tied up in a room of your house, not knowing whether or not they will kill you. It's a Mr Nightmare story in the making. Meanwhile, the intruders are actually just playing horseshoes, cooking and cleaning the dishes, calling a pizza or straight up having a band lmao.

For those who are unable to push the car, the glitch happens when you take out the block from under the car without the other player lifting up the car first. So in order to push the car go to last checkpoint and have someone lift the car THEN take out the block from under.
