Absolutely - and many of us change ourselves in order to be loved, abandoning parts of ourselves in the process. Your "still being you" is the key! This message was for those who were made to feel unlovable for being themselves and feeling that where they are right now is unlovable. 💖 I deeply value your comment and insights!

I have never trusted myself nor being proud of myself nor even liked myself in some way. I guess it is still the same today but I am doing my best to accept myself as I am and to think positively on my life, what I have had in my life, what I have and will have in the near or far future :)

I hear you and see you. 💞This community was created to support us on healing journeys back to ourselves. To find ways to honor the parts of ourselves that didn't get the unconditional love we should have received. I do not want to stir up trauma and leave people in states I am unable to support, and I strive to be mindful of that in sharing and offering life lessons from my own journey. I appreciate you sharing yours and being here. I hope this KZbin community may be one where you and others may feel supported in the exploration of finding what you crave within. 💖 We aren't meant to walk our journeys alone.

Thank you for this amazing information. I am investigating to learn more about autistic burnout. I was diagnosed as autistic last year at 65yo. Fatigue hit as bad as it could for about a month, lost strength on legs and arms. I was so weak I thought I’d never recover. I am much better now, will go back to yoga soon I hope. What I realized is that burnout affects physically, mentally, emotionally. For a couple ours socializing I need a whole day Indoors, no light, no screens. Before I felt ashamed for being so lazy, or ve been in depressed. I’ve been in my bedroom most of my life. And I really like it :) but i need to go out and have some fun, meet people, enjoy life. I embrace being autistic, it cleared out the void I felt before. There is nothing missing in me, I am just different. Love to all autistic people out there ❤

im only 2:31 in and already im enjoying this alot. I'll be honest and maybe a little too foward my parents do accept my autism diagnosis, but they seem to insist i can "build a bridge and get over it" and suggest im on like "a 1 on the autism" scale. they don't seem to fully accept my formal dignosis. i believe its because people typically see autism as a negative. but when i effortlessly fix a tech issue they had its all well and grand. but when i can't maintain eye contact its awful. for them. oh well. maybe in time they'll accept it. i mean far as i see i could have turned out much worse than shy little nerdy computer girl thats scared to her heart and soul of offending anyone so i sit back observe and try to mask. then fawn to get out of scary situations. and i've only just learned about 5 months ago it was autism all along. its good to know and important to learn. so thank you for the video!

Great question! That's what the channel mission is all about! Helping people to develop the tools and identify the resources that can help them answer that question from within themselves. Personally, it's been an everyday exploration that has included leveraging resources such as books, coaching, therapy, spiritual development, confronting my own thoughts and beliefs (where they came from, how they serve me, how they may no longer be serving me) and stillness (breaking away from societal noise.) If you are interested in 1:1 support, I partner with clients to help them find their way back to themselves - no pressure and happy to support you in connecting with the resources that best suit your needs and desires! In addition to this free community which I hope provides you value in exploring that question for yourself with support and others doing the same, here's more ways I may help: www.jillianrigertcoaching.com/

There are many factors that go into health. People in smaller, average, or larger bodies can face health issues. We need to look at the full picture and provide care for the human (rather than judge, objectify, and assume anything about the person based on body size). Thanks for tuning in!

@@DrJillianRigert yeah, okay, but in the main, that doesn’t negate the fact that we’re fatter in this country because of our bad eating habits. kinda dangerous ...potentialy misinforming...I think Diet (calorie intake) and sleep quality are a big thing but intense exercise is needed..a simple walk is not going to help with weightloss. A better alternative would be an hour of cycling with different levels of intensity or an incline walk up a set of stairs or hill.
@DrJillianRigert
@DrJillianRigert 3 ай бұрын
A walk is a great place to start for many people! Nourishing our minds, bodies, and souls - and sleep are certainly key! However, it can be dangerous for some people to jump into intense exercise. It's important to take an individualized approach and consider each person's unique needs. The prescriptive diet culture approaches that are generalized and fads (not sustainable) are way more dangerous and misinforming than encouraging people to meet themselves where they are at - such as starting with a walk for those who haven't been able to be mobile. Walking can definitely support weight loss and overall improved wellness. Though- Bon does workout intensely - I'm a marathon runner and am no where close to her level of fitness (she is also a marathoner and lifter of super heavy weights). We need to challenge our minds and expand what we've been taught by diet culture and weight bias (even in medicine). Thanks for watching!
