I used to love singing this song, it was my favorite thing to bust out on the acoustic ever. The words, clever chord prog, unique flow... but when I found out about the whole scandal thing and all the dirt that came up, it really crushed me. I didn't understand how someone could make this beautiful music and then be like that... idk. haven't really sang anything with my acoustic in the years since that came to light. Hope this man has healed and made things right somehow. this song still hits deep, I think it's time to sing it for people again. we need healing and these words make me feel okay in some really dark times. be good to people please <3

It's just a f%ckin song. Nice song. Good job. I used to listen to it a lot. I lived on Big Island for many years, have a son out there. I'm partially native american. My dad was adopted by white people. Reading all your weird comments makes me like this song less. This song has a way of attracting people who want to believe in something and have a group to fit into. People who had some kind of difficulty that they'll probably never completely overcome. Get over it. There is no god, or santa, or any other fairy tale creature. Maybe you're alone in the world. You'll either be strong enough to make it or you won't. Nice song.
