The reason why you need to use a laser printer is that the “ink” is actually a powder which is tiny particles of plastic and not actually an ink. When you run a laser printed image/test through the mink with the foil the plastic re-melts and the foil will stick to it. It doesn’t matter what colour the laser jet print so a one that only prints in black is fine.

I scrapbooker for YEARS before I had a kid. Never understood the mentality that people without kids wouldn’t have anything worth scrapbooking…..like WHAT?!? I had a job, a home, a pet, days out, travel adventures, favourite foods, new experiences……you know, all the same things as people with kids really, just no mini tyrant stopping me from having any scrapping time 😂

First off, I love this type of video where it’s not just a flip through, but where you’re pointing out very specific ideas, etc. Secondly, I just love your style! Not too much, not too little…just perfection! And thirdly, you have no idea how much I appreciate your words of encouragement to those who do not have children! I agree with everything you said 100% and the focus of scrapbooking does not ALWAYS have to be about the children! I get so tired and a bit irritated when I hear scrapbookers say, “my kids are older I have nothing to scrapbook about”. YES you do!!! I have no kids or pets and I am very prolific! You don’t ever hear this sentiment when it comes to other hobbies. This hobby is for you, not the kids. Anyway, thank you for saying what you did! I cannot wait to see what else you share!
