Absolutely hands down for me is Kabukicho, nothing comes close. Temples would not even make the top 20 in my option.

Kabukicho district is a world of its own. It is the home for Godzilla and it is considered as the biggest red light district in Tokyo due to its adult-oriented entertainment, bars, love hotels, restaurants, samurai shows, high rise tower and dazzling neon lights. Some people are fascinated by nightlife but others are amazed by temples, pagodas, scenic sites, food and the like. As they say, ‘ to each their own ‘. But nevertheless, Tokyo is worth visiting because of their vibrant culture, sumptuous food, futurism, amazing people and scenery. This is one of the best cities in the world!

Thanks Khalid. In Tokyo, the best places to eat with reasonable prices would be areas of Shinjuku, Shibuya, Akibahara, Yoshinoya, TakeshitaSt. in Harajuku and Tsukiji Outer markets (Street foods). Most of the food prices would be US$2.50 to $12 on average so it won’t break the bank. You can even find good food at 7-eleven stores in Japan. You will definitely love the food in Japan, it is known as the culinary capital in the world. Here’s the link for cheap foods to give you an idea, seeker.io/article/tokyo-on-a-budget/ For shopping I would suggest the areas in Shibuya, Kuramae Market , Harajuku, and Ginza (upscale). I would recommend you to visit Don Quijote Shops, for tons of Japanese items at very cheap prices. I also have noticed that Uniqlo Japan have better prices than North America, so try to check it out. Hopefully this helps.
